Some news regarding what other states are doing
Tennessee has pushed back practices to Sept. 1.
New Jersey has pushed back practices to mid September to see how school reopening goes. If they could start practices in mid-September their plans would be to have 8 or 9 nine games by Thanksgiving and then no playoffs.
New Mexico has postponed fall sports. An idea they are considering is starting the fall sports and having them run in March and April. May be as few as six games. And then the spring sports would run shortened seasons in May and June.
