What has happened in Babe Ruth Baseball

We used to see lots of updates on tournaments and games but never see anything now. Has the program
Fallen apart??? Who is still playing in it? Did any teams advance to the World Series??

I grew up playing Babe Ruth in Excelsior Springs. Shortly after I got out of high school it fell apart there because lack of numbers. I believe the increase of USSSA hurt Babe Ruth. I always thought it was a great organization. I often check to see how things are with the organization.

The Charleston Fightning Squirrels are playing...................

......in the Babe Ruth World Series beginning Thursday in Covington, AL. The Squirrels, 50-9, play the host, Covington County, AL, at 7 PM.

While searching on the Internet after this post I came across a couple articles about them. That's exciting.

I saw where they had beaten several Legion teams which really shouldn't surprise me, the Legion programs I've seen lately are pretty weak.

Looking at their roster they sure encompass a large boundary. Saw kids from Sikeston etc.
