Love spotify...

Spotify - Blackberry Smoke Homecoming: Live in Atlanta, Leave a Scar:Live in North Carolina and Philip Sayce: Peace of Mind and Philip Sayce:Scorched Earth, Vol.1

a buddy puts up a daily facebook post - what's your favorite song from so and so artist

i listen their discography start to finish on spotify

hall & oates
journey
bowie
beatles
def leppard
springsteen

interesting that a couple of them, springsteen and journey, start out questionably. the songs just aren't there. springsteens label almost dropped him after his first two forgettable efforts. then he exploded and went on a commercial winning streak in the late 70' and 80's.

Okay. I don’t know why I thought of Don Ho the other day, but I actually looked up an old episode of the Don Ho Show on YouTube.
I hadn’t even thought of Don Ho in decades.
For you youngsters who’ve never heard of him...it’s quite alright. You haven’t missed much.

What was that band in the 80s that wore leather sacks over their heads and ran around in their underwear.

I’ve often wondered about the choice of “Def Leppard” as a band name.
Why not “Mute Elefant” or “Blynde Girraff?”
You got me curious about the name.

It was Joe Elliott - the lead vocalist of the band, first came up with the nameof 'Deaf Leopard'!!! After considering the same with his fellow band members and the rock scene prevailing at that time, where Led Zeppelin were considered to be the zenith of rock music.

Sure, but why malady (a) combined with jungle animal (b)?
Cripled Zeebra, for example.

Or, maybe they should have had a little more foresight and gone with something more futuristic. Perhaps "Lil' Leppard" or "Def Roxxx", or maybe "DL Boo$ie Boyz"

Can't beat Sunday morning KSHE classics

Infamous Stringdusters - bluegrass on steroids

Going old school listening to Thin Lizzy, it's too bad that most only know them from the song The Boys Are Back In Town. Give me Cowboy Song or I'm Still in Love With You any day of the Boys Are Back In Town.

Ahhh... the Wilbury's. End of the Line is a perfect song for these times !

I had Thin Lizzy on 8 track, along get with a lot of other classics like Nazareth, Deep Purple, RamJam, Frank Zappa.

Seen Springsteen back in 83 probably one of the best concerts I have seen, kept you on the edge of your seat for almost 3 hours

Same here - I saw him first time in '78 at Kiel Auditorium - Darkness on the Edge of Town Tour.. Roommate had an extra ticket and had to talk me into going. Absolutely blew me away!!
One of those artists you have to see live to appreciate. First artist I ever saw who went out in the crowd during a song, back in the days when everybody had mega security in front of the stage, but not Bruce!!

Here's my fav Bruce video...his first time in LA as a relative unknown...comments from people in attendance said they knew they were watching a future star...

Side note - Sax player Clarence Clemons turned down a football scholarship to U of Minnesota!!
