Anyone else sick of hearing ESPN telling us all what the analytics say to do???

I don’t mind. I think it’s an interesting tool to use in decision making. I feel it does takes a little of the human element out of it. But hey, numbers, not instinct built all those tall buildings in the Nevada desert.

I’m just so glad we added a ref to the booth to tell us if someone’s knee was down because we can’t see that with our own eyes on our massive TVs from five different angles. We need a zebra to state the obvious.

Analytics is the modern term for what we use to refer to as common sense when making coaching decisions!!!

Maybe I’m in the minority, but I’m sick of hearing ESPN telling us “analytics say you should go for it/kick” or “analytics say you should go for two” 😒
At least we don’t have to hear about the spin rate or launch angle of throws and kicks. 🤯🤯🤯🤯
