Sir Harrisonville is the center of the WCMO region thank you. That's a mere 76 miles.Pretty sure ElDo has been and will continue to be a part of SWMO.
the fact that it’s 40 miles closer to Springfield than it is to KC pretty much solidifies that.
Barton County doesn't have Billy Long either.Sir Harrisonville is the center of the WCMO region thank you. That's a mere 76 miles.
Eldo stays in west central MO.
North of 54 and no Billy Long.

I think the expert on MO maps should straighten this out.At 15 miles from the Kansas border, Harrisonville isn't the center of anything except Cass county.
If there's actually a "center" of WCMO it'd be Warrensburg or Sedalia.
They've also been known to put class 2 teams in class 1 and 3 districts.El Do is in the SWMO according to the MSHSAA division of areas.
That map has nothing to do with how the playoffs are setup in Missouri so what is your point? If you think Cape, Sikeston and Poplar Bluff are in the bootheel there is no hope for ya. Do you even know what a bootheel looks like?I've spent all evening studying years of trends, maps, mosports posts, voting history and spent 3 hours on the phone with Kerwin Urhahn and later Becky Oakes before they sent me to speak with John Danforth. As such, here is the definitive map.
I think the good Captain is now in the Sports Satire Hall of Fame! That map has nothing to do with how the playoffs are setup in Missouri so what is your point? If you think Cape, Sikeston and Poplar Bluff are in the bootheel there is no hope for ya. Do you even know what a bootheel looks like?
I specifically asked Kerwin what the bootheel region should be. He told me.. Also if it ain't SWMO who carezThat map has nothing to do with how the playoffs are setup in Missouri so what is your point? Maybe the folks from New Madrid, Charleston, South Pem and Caruthersville just to name a few.I specifically asked Kerwin what the bootheel region should be. He told me.. Also if it ain't SWMO who carez
Update... I've spoken with Columbia College AD and former assistant womens bball coach at SEMO James Arnold... henceforth (that means from now on for our SEMO crowd) the region formerly referred to as the bootheel will be called SEMO.Maybe the folks from New Madrid, Charleston, South Pem and Caruthersville just to name a few.
I spoke with former NW third string quarterback and current football head coach Andy Hampton. He said they are proud Kansas Citians "basically we are just northeast Blue Springs"While you guys are arguing about Eldo being in West Central Mo, I’m sitting here thinking why has no one pointed out according to the posted map WelNap is in the KC region.
It's alway been in Southeast Missouri, but the bootheel is called that because that are of the state actually looks the heel of boot. The nickname has nothing to do with how basketball playoffs are set up.Update...
