Agree across the board other than think Eugene ekes that one out. My question (this weather is giving me racing fever, sorry) is will Forrest Lucas attend the Chadwick-Wheatland semi??????

St.Elizabeth
Eugene
Principia
The class 2 Championship was played last week when Eugene played Hartville in my opinion as was the class 3 when Principia played Montgomery County.

Second year in existence (yeah another private I know) KIPP now playing Thayer. I like the Bobcats by double digits..............

All private final in class 3
It is with that little second year in existence caveat. KIPP played a strong KC area schedule plus one real good IA team it appears to have paid off vs. what I know is a top program in SCMO who also tends to schedule very well.

KIPP's run to their divisional title match in the William Jewell Holiday Classic was their signature (especially the semi victory playing 3 classes up vs. Liberty North) moment of this regular season. Likely not nearly enough to hang with Principia in tomorrow's final but that (cliche, sorry) is why they play the game...............

But you sing such a different tune in Mexico vs Vashon lol

I didn't expect puxico to lose tonight
I did not either. Canton played really well and Puxico was not used to having the pressure put on them. Brewer was a manchild when it came to rim protecting. He will be a good one at Quincy when he adds some muscle and works on his shot a little. Will be a heck of a game with Eugene.

The problem is they will not get those easy looks tonight. It will be a closer game and I could see Canton pulling off the upset.
After 3 I was on board. I thought Eugene changed the pace, played with superior discipline and really took Canton out of their game in the 4th. I "believe" that is Eugene's first ever championship in any sport CONGRATS to them!

Yes it is. I thought the 3rd quarter stalled when they quit having the Allen kid handle the ball. Once they went back with the ball in his hands they took off. He had a great game on both ends. Now the question is will Eugene have 3 players on the all-state team? 2 are returning all-staters and I am not sure how you do not give it to the Allen kid either. So Glad to see the old head Coach Engelbrecht on the bench as an assistant. He was so close to winning it in '92 and had so many teams that had to meet up with some great teams in the play-offs. Great game by both teams.
