Still maintain that Lamar vs Tipton will be a good one Friday night, especially given Lamar’s close calls to start here. Still think Lamar ones, but I bet it’s another close one unless Wilkerson is all the way back for the Tigers.
It also pains me to say this, but Nixa’s got a hell of a four game start to their schedule. Last year’s runner up in Republic, followed by all ranked teams in Webb, Joplin, and Carthage. We’ll see how much that preps them for a run in Class 6.

They need to schedule outside the league: Down south to AR/OK and a game either vs. top KC or STL would help their cause immensely.

For me the only rankings that matter are in December but these are nice measuring sticks. Rock #1 in C6 shocks me. LN #1 in C4 does not at all. #2 and #3 face off in Smithville this Friday night will be there.............

Hmmmm did Kirksville really beat Chillicothe 42-7? Preps and 810 locally had that reversed all weekend. Sorry to my Pick Em players would have put in Savannah-Kirksville in place of Chilli-Maryville. Will propose it on there in a bit as it is only Monday...............once someone verifies this result.

bman who won the Chilli-Kirksville game? Both KC media sites have stated Chilli (which I expected) did 42-7 MSHSAA has it reversed and the rankings indicate Kirksville won....................thanks in advance for your help!
Found it the old fashioned way. This does not make me happy at all....................my bad though. Kirksville did indeed win this one.

Wouldn’t hate for the COC to do something like two out of conference games, two crossover games, and finish out with the 5 divisional games. Webb had a long standing game with Pittsburg, Carthage played some interesting opponents, the Nixa people could quit whining about a full conference schedule. Could be neat.

when is the last time five teams in class 6 had first place votes?

It won't. Those teams aren't all that good compared to quality C6 football.

Some of those teams could beat most of class 6, minus the big boys at the very top.
Cool story bro, that has nothing to do with what I said. Just feather your hair, fire up your Iroc, slide into that lettermans jacket and say what you really want to say...Webb could beat those C6 teams...Then again, they got absolutely curb stomped by Nixa. At Webb. So, ya know.

I was referring to Nixa, Webb, Carthage, and Joplin...as the post you were responding to was naming. Brush up on your reading comprehension so you don't sound like such a douche bag. Bro.

Hannibal will turbo Kirksville. I do like the direction that Kirksville is headed but I do not think they would be a top 10 team in class 3 or a top 5 team in class 2.
Honestly just being a Hannibal Fan. I really think Kirksville can give Hannibal a game. I am impressed with Hannibal these first 2 games but Hannibal needs more working. To Me Hannibal is like a #7 or #8 team in Class 4.

The past 3 years out of anyone in the NCMC. Kirksville has gave Hannibal the most trouble than Mexico or Moberly.

Also Kirksville bringing a high caliber coach In Greg Nesbitt who won a State Championship with Hickman back in the early 2000’s
