Class 2 looks to be the most balanced as to there are 7 teams that can win it in the top 10 IMO.

Still maintain that Lamar vs Tipton will be a good one Friday night, especially given Lamar’s close calls to start here. Still think Lamar ones, but I bet it’s another close one unless Wilkerson is all the way back for the Tigers.
It also pains me to say this, but Nixa’s got a hell of a four game start to their schedule. Last year’s runner up in Republic, followed by all ranked teams in Webb, Joplin, and Carthage. We’ll see how much that preps them for a run in Class 6.
I do not think Tipton matches up with the physicality upfront of Lamar. We will see. I was wrong about the California outcome.

I think Lamar ultimately wins this one, especially if Wilkerson is back in some capacity for Lamar. I just know this seems to be Tipton’s best team in at least 10 years and it could end up being a good game. Interesting matchup for sure.

I didn’t watch the Tipton/Lincoln game, but I’ll say this, Willow gave Lincoln a decent game for a quarter and a half and Lincoln only ended up beating Willow by 2 TDs if I remember correctly, maybe Tipton was taking it easy, idk, but they didn’t exactly manhandle Lincoln.

I would be shocked if lamar won this game by less than 2 scores, but then again, it was a single score game in the 4th last week against Newt.

I tend to agree with most, Tipton won’t see the physicality they will against lamar any other week this year.

Honestly just being a Hannibal Fan. I really think Kirksville can give Hannibal a game. I am impressed with Hannibal these first 2 games but Hannibal needs more working. To Me Hannibal is like a #7 or #8 team in Class 4.

The past 3 years out of anyone in the NCMC. Kirksville has gave Hannibal the most trouble than Mexico or Moberly.

Also Kirksville bringing a high caliber coach In Greg Nesbitt who won a State Championship with Hickman back in the early 2000’s

Scores between Hannibal and Kirksville the last 3 years...53-0, 45-25, 41-0... and all could've been much worse..not any trouble there.

For what it’s worth, MSHSAA has Lincoln beating Willow 32-13 (how about that bus ride for either school?) and Tipton beating Lincoln 34-8.

Again, I’m not saying Tipton wins this game, it just looks interesting on paper. For all I know, Lamar will do what Lamar typically does and takes them behind the woodshed. But Tipton appears to have played solidly the first two weeks (I haven’t seen them play either) and Lamar’s games have definitely been tight the first two weeks. I’m just glad we get what looks to be a good game between two out of conference teams.

Tipton scored with 2 mins left in the game in this one. Meh.

The comments section is usually a dandy during their games.
