Doesn't Harrisonville traditionally improve throughout the year. Maybe more than the regular high school program does. Seems to be the case. No one has said that the Harrisonville D is not good. I just think the Webb D is significantly better.Interesting...PC only has one game this year that they did not score 31 points or more..and it wasn't even the best team they played that held them so low. It was Harrisonville, who held them to 20. Held WC to 24 (even with four turnovers.)
Platt County be lucky to score much less score four timesWebb wins but PC scores at least 28
Is that before or after they run out of bounds at the 1 yard line and bring in their defense to score the TD?I see PC scoring 21, then calling timeout with under a minute to go to score on the JV just to see the message board explode.
Bahahaha
This, exactly.Platte will have to hit some vertical passes. The problem with that is can they protect long enough to get that pass off. If Platte County wins it has to be a high scoring game. They will probably have to score on every possession.
I see it playing out as a close game to start, possibly up until half or midway through the third. Webb will grind out long drives and score on most possessions, witch will shorten the game. Webb gets up by two touchdowns, and Platte will start taking chances, a turnover by Platte at that point will open the flood gates, if not the score will remain close.

Since when do they wear shoulder pads and have people lightening you up in the 400 meters?Fade passes to the 6'5 Randy Moss. Runs a 49 400m--last year.
Dude, how many times do you need to be told the same thing? Kearney is a wrestling school. They aren't in Springfield.JNReturns,
How is your Karnee basketball practices going?
I watched them play basketball before. I would almost bet they are bouncing round balls in the gymDude, how many times do you need to be told the same thing? Kearney is a wrestling school. They aren't in Springfield.
They won a State title in 2010 and were in the class 4 semifinal last year. It's very much a basketball schoolI didn't say they don't have a team, just that it's not their primary sport over the winter.
Pretty cocky for a team that only beat lackluster Harrisonville by 24 (relying on four turnovers.) Not a chance. If PC is hot...they will score at least 21--if not 28.
Yes, Neosho has won state titles in 6 of the last 8 years in Class 3. Kearney won the other 2.Is Kearney in the same class as Neosho wrestling?.

Score in this game didn't really tell the whole story - the second drive Webb had was 20+ plays and H'ville only had 2 plays in the first quarter. Webb dominated the game by simply playing smash-mouth football and running the ball at them and they couldn't stop it. And with those 2 passes by a wide receiver (which was also a qb in junior high) and a full back (who has signed to play outfield for MSSU) only gives PC another look that they have to be leery of and prepare for.I think not positive but believe WEBB had 356 yards of offense and Hville had 54. WEBB CITY ran 72 offensive plays, Hville 28.. Scores do matter but don't always tell the whole story..PC will have its hands full and I hope their QB can take all the shots he's going to get....

They are not going to score 30 either. Will be lucky to get 14. WC might have the best defense in the state regardless of class this year.Defintely NOT a good match up for P.C. I think Webb will get 8+ yards a carry. Grind down the clock, and make plays on the D line. PC is going to be in trouble.
After watching Blue Springs last week, I would say that last sentence is for sure incorrect. They are not going to score 30 either. Will be lucky to get 14. WC might have the best defense in the state regardless of class this year.

Yeah. And the Class 2 state champion might be able to win Class 6, etc., etc.Just like BS MIGHT have the best D in the state.
