Jackson has lost twice in 3 years but are 0-2 against the coc 😎
Webb was 5-3 after 8 weeks and started playing 3-4 guys both ways ....moved a backer to d end and the defense is so damn good now . These kids have so much heart but the coaches did a masterful job getting their best players on the field and in the right position. That backer they moved to d end caused the fumble that sealed it against Carthage.
Rod is the difference. It took Jackson a half to figure out the Webb running game. It was too late.
Good thing they don't play in it, they'd be Republic
Jackson is much like Webb , Carthage , Joplin and Nixa ... Jackson vs any of those teams would be great games .
A friend who is a a coach in MO says Rod is the best and Bouchard is a close second. He also said they are both incredibly nice individuals.
Coach Rod is an even better person then he is a coach!

Webb first 3 drives ...80 yd td. 70 yd td. 80 yd td . Long sustained drives and get a lead . Both of the things I said they had to do to win . Top was probably fairly even for the game overall bc I'd guess Jackson won the second half bc Webb was just trying to eat clock bc the d played so well
Last 3 wins . #2 Carthage (10-0 record ) #7 Lebanon (10-1) #1 Jackson (12-0) now the face holt (13-0)
It's easy not to when you curb stomp everyone you play . Webb figured out mid season they needed to play 3-4 guys both ways at least part time and it's paid dividends

Jasper County has the best high school football of any single other county in the state. STAMP it.
I'm not sure about that, but there are a lot of good teams in SWMO. Especially if you go outside of Jasper Co and add in Lamar.
Webb is a lot better now than they were 2 months ago.
so to say 3rd and 4th place COC teams is a stretch. The Webb team from today would be COC champs

Problem with that is Webb isn't playing then, like they are now so at the time, I could see 3rd of 4th best COC team
Maybe I’m missing it, but I believe the 3rd in the 3rd and 4th best teams in the COC is from 2019 when Carthage finished 3rd in the conference and 1st in C5 with their win over Jackson.
Of course WC was 4th this year and beat the easily undefeated conference Champs as well as the Fighting Indians.
If Jackson were in the COC and the schedule had them play WC early to mid season, WC would have chalked up another in the L column.
WC was the much more physical team on both sides of the LOS (I’m still shaking my head a bit) and dominated today.
