Great man, great coach. When we were looking for a head coach in Baxter two years ago I begged a board member to at least make a call to him. I doubt he would have had any interest at all but never hurts to ask.

Webb will have to pull off some big plays to win . Carthage is bigger and stronger ...Webb will have to hit a few big plays bc they can't or at least I don't think can physically drive up and down the field on them . Carthage is pretty impressive physically. Webb will have to out coach and out execute them .
I don't recall the stats from the regular season game . Ik the final was 14-13 and Webb missed an extra point. But my memory of that game was Carthage having a lot of nice drives and not scoring and Webb hit them with a few big plays . Side note # does Webb have a wildcat package with Young or #1 because Carthage doesn't have anyone who are near the athletes they are
Ctown showed nothing, knowing they were going to win. They held back a lot. I have a feeling it's going to be a shellacking
He'd be a god over there with the horrible record Webb has but we expect better here.
Coach Burr is still teaching here. I will personally be forever grateful for his contributions to the BHS program. It’s not a spot I think he really wanted to be in but he stabilized a program that just about disappeared. Don’t let his win/ loss record be the only measure of what he did here.
But Maniac would not understand that. High school football is a bottom line business to him. Burr made my son a better man PERIOD.
I have some friends and family in BS and they have definitely made some progress. Burr was also one of my HS coaches . Not my personal coach ( I think he coached inside linebackers and I played outside lb ) I honestly didn't know him all that well but he seemed like a good dude .
Also in sek news I was shocked Frontenac got beat last night . Shocking upset
I’m not. This season was the absolute worst football I have ever seen from the sek league wide.
Well my boss was lol . He lives in BS and told me he would eat his shoe if Frontenac didn't win state about 3 weeks ago . I guess I need to hold him to that
Haha he's a former Pitt State football player . He has 2-3 daughters go through bs HS but no boys . I think his youngest daughter is a cheerleader and makes alot of baked goods for the community
