I think Webb City takes a step back this year, and Republic is up and coming. I think they get over the hump and win the COC. I do think WC will get better down the stretch and still be a favorite in Class 4. Carl Junction will be solid but I don't think they will be ready to compete at the top with the depth of the COC. Thoughts?

Honestly I couldn't argue with that at this point, Webb may end up running the table but at this point Its going to be interesting to say the least in Webbville

What is the logic behind Republic and Nixa - didn't they both graduate their star players just like WC, Carthage and Willard? Neosho seemed a little under appreciated to me. Were they as senior heavy as everyone else? Am I wrong to write off Ozark and Branson? They were virtually winless last year but I don't know if that was because they had an extremely young or inexperienced team, or because they other teams all just happened to be really good last year.

With what little I know it kind of seems like it could be an open field without a clear favorite until later in the season after we see what these teams are capable of. History would suggest Webb City as a favorite even if they take a step back so I don't see any reason to change that until someone starts to prove otherwise.

I do think CJ will be a legit contender for the COC title next year. WC could be very good again but unlike some recent years when you knew WC would contend it could go either way. Will make next season a little more exciting for that reason.

While past performance doesn't necessarily guarantee future results, the COC large champ has been the same for a lot of years. If I were putting money on it, I wouldn't bet against Webb.

It will be interesting with Smitty gone but until one of these teams beat them WEBB has got to be the favorite. cTOWN 6th is kinda funny as well as CJ 4th. Little different conference this year for them. Long as JROD is at the Helm I would pick the COC as follows...
