Walnut Grove vs Webb City

Why would you schedule this if you Webb City. Your a Class 5 school playing a Class 1 school. Why would you want to risk a Class 1 school coming on your home court and beating you. It just looks bad. If the Mancini girl plays Webb should win. If she doesn't I would take Walnut Grove.

I guess the coaches daughter, who tore her ACL a month ago or so, is going to try and play. She is a senior and won't play in college so I get it.

They are lucky they won. That would of been beyond embarrassing.

WG had the ball with 90 seconds left and the game tied. They tried to run the entire 90 seconds off of the clock and take the last shot. Of course they turned it over and Webb got an easy bucket. High school teams generally can't hold the ball that long.

I hate stalling, it rarely works the way the team doing it wants it to. My theory is that you got the lead by not stalling, so why risk blowing the lead by doing it? I get it if there's a minute or less in the game, but any more than that and it doesn't seem to work most of the time
