Not really earth-shattering; senior leadership was questionable on the team this year. In all honesty, if Republic can play Carthage in both halves the way they played the second today, Carthage may hang the pads up afterwards. Repmo just needs to avoid the mental lapse that can occur after such a win and play Gall in the same manner. Of course, they were able to after their Nixa win earlier. I think the battle of Tigers next week will be an interesting affair.

The Webb City basketball team should be pretty good come December. For the first time in the 21st Century, they have nearly the whole month of November to practice together.

And that’s a huge compliment to the football program there.

Practices starting before thanksgiving for the entire basketball and wrestling teams. I’m sure new practice schedules are being put together this weekend.
