They were 1-9 this past season. Did graduate several key players last May. Also lost an all-stater to transferring. Not quite as bad as your post made it out to be. Also, won two district titles in first two years.

Yea. 2018 was not an ordinary Cape season. It was a "glitch"....

Correction: Pixley led his first two teams at Cape Girardeau Central to the district title game both seasons, winning once. Had a three season record of 15-20. Was 14-11 coming into this past season and then went 1-9. His first two seasons his teams started to gel at district time. Not so much this past one.

New Princeton HC is Nathan Powell, current Maryville DC. He was a Class 1A first-team all-state LB in 1995 and is a 1996 Princeton graduate.

Nice hire for Princeton. Congratulations to the school and to Coach Powell. He's a good coach and a good guy.

wonder who will get that kc central job?

Any word on Hannibal Job? I am interested to see who gets it. they said they interviewed 7 including 2 from within.

That's an understatement, it would be a good place to go considering talent and weak schedule, as long as you know your back is exposed and your on your own.

I have heard the same thing about people being upset.i really like the moved they made bringing Hammer in. Mark St Clair was a great coach, but really conservative at the ends of games. Hannibal gonna be a tough cookie in the coming years.

What do you think about this HBL? Heard a lot of people are upset a long time assistant didn’t get the job?
