Obama already told Putin "CUT IT OUT" almost three years ago. I would assume that took care of the problem
It got as much attention as him telling Assad not to cross that red line in Syria
How's he supposed to answer?
1) "Yes. I told him not to meddle in the next election" Then you would say "OMG Trump wanted Putin to meddle in the last election, see we knew it!"
2) "No. I didn't tell him that directly." Then you would say "OMG Trump wants Putin to meddle in the next election! Conspiracy!"
It's like the famous middle school question, "does your Mom know you're gay?" Doesn't matter how you answer, the person asking the question get's what they want.
Two different things here
Do I believe that Russia actually interfered in the election (changed results, tampered with voting machines, changed voter rolls) the answer is NO
Do I believe Russia ran social media campaigns to spread misinformation and screw the American peoples perception of candidates then the answer is YES
But heck we do that to mess with other countries all the time
Right now we are talking about military intervention in Venezuela to impose our will in that country. We have done that in many countries around the world for decades. Since we are the good guys its OK when we do it
I'd much rather invest in Venezuela and Latin America similar to how China has invested in Africa. We can change hearts and minds without ever firing a shot, which is much more sustainable.
Why would we need to invest in a socialist utopia that we should strive to be like?
Lol political good will. China is attempting to take over the world via investment rather than force.
