Trump is such a coward to not go in front of other candidates and face the music from his actions.
Last I heard his legal team is now asking for a trial date in 2026 for one of his issues, I don't even remember which one. If they let that crew get away with stalling his many trails dates he'll probably be president and pardon himself. I guess that's what they're thinking too.

And his lead in the polls keeps growing. Pretty sad that a pretty big majority of republican voters say they believe what he says about pretty much everything. If some these cases don't get to trial AND a conviction that lunatic will be President again and he will out for revenge on any and everybody that didn't fall in line.

My gosh guys. There is way too much doom and gloom on this board. Trump is dominating the Republicans, but in head to head he is not doing well with independents. I am hanging my hat on that, and just going to sit back and watch the carnage in the primaries. If Christie somehow comes out of it then I will worry, or Hurd. If it is Trump or Desantis, I am not worried.
I agree. Stay positive. Even if Trump wins, we will be living in a wonderful world where the planet isn’t boiling and there is no greed.

Many working class people feel that the Democratic party has abandoned them. Trumps message resonates more with blue collar folks than the dems or Biden right now. This weekend I took my dad to a get together of his old UAW buddies an there were more MAGA hats than I could care to count. Most will tell you they feel that the Dems have abandoned them and rightly so, Clinton and Obama shifted the party to Wall Street and Biden really hasn't done a good job of getting his message out about supporting the working class. Not excusing just pointing it out. Trumps high polling numbers are on the Dems most of Trumps base were disillusioned former Dems.
People don't want hand outs they want jobs, decent paying jobs. So many of them are willing to fall for the con mans lies and snake oil fixes, over the Dems broken and failed promises of the past and of nothing today. They just promise more hand outs...that is not what people want, and until the Dems figure that out we are stuck with Trump.

I am not happy about any of that. I am just saying that I think that when next November comes around, there will be a democrat sitting in the White House, and hopefully have a super majority in both houses.
Biden has not done a good job of getting the message out, but that is also partially due to the climate and his attempt to make it better. If he started talking about Mitch's Chinese loving wife, he would get more attention.
Biden and the Dems focused on passing the infrastructure bill, which has led to strong job growth and the US steel industry kicking butt. The job market has been strong for months.
They addressed the absurd insulin prices for seniors and medicare negotiating with drug companies. They cared enough about climate change to pass some measures.
They are too owned by their corporate masters to make more significant changes but these are things the GOP should have addressed during Trump’s first two years.
He didn’t. They did. And we weathered the Covid storm in the process.
The blue collar people have simply fallen for Trump’s con and the result is cult like. He doesn’t give a sh about them and never has. Look at what he did to the contractors he hosed. He yells build the wall when we all know he hired hundreds of illegal aliens at his properties. Why does his cult simply choose to ignore what a liar he is and how strong our job market is now?

Biden has accomplished a great deal more than Trump ever did. That being said what has not occurred as Bullit said, is effective messaging. Biden does seem to lack energy at times when he needs it most.
Manufacturing is coming back under Biden.

Veer the Pubs are just doing a better Job at attacking Biden and the Dems, than the Dems are doing at getting out their message. They are keeping the dems on the ropes and it is the Dems fault for picking stupid fights.
And honestly the Dems need to worry less about trying to allow men into woman's sports and creating 80 different genders and just concentrate on the things that people actually care about, they might not be on the ropes so much. But they just keep shooting themselves in the foot.
In my humble opinion, my expectations for Biden were simply keep the train on the tracks and return some decency and dignity to the office of POTUS. He has done that!!

When you watch Biden he just looks tired and looks like he wants out. reminds me or mermaid man...
Trump well he is just Trump, I don't know that there is a candidate out there that I like.
