TRCC picked up its fifth recruit of the spring today by signing Millington (Tenn.) Central forward Jermaine Dailey.

I saw this guy try out for SMSU-WP two weeks before he went to Three Rivers. You guys will like him and compared to what I saw last year you will probably write him into the starting five. Barr didn't offer him the day he tried out because we had others to see but I was really impressed with the guy and you won't be disappointed. I thought it was a mistake not to offer him. He goes after rebounds real good. Seems like a real good kid too.

If they have, Three Rivers will be setting pretty for the next season. I seen the four recruits Grizzlies had commitments and they were very good athletic basketball players.

Who else have the raiders signed? I know they got the kid out of Arkansas (don't know the name) and the super athlete out of Tennessee. Now with this newest addition, what does the Raider's roster look like for next year? Who do they have to play inside besides Yugo? What the Raiders need is one big bull to go in the paint with Yugo and they'll have a nice roster. With Dom, Webb, and the rest of that backcourt (including my boy CJ Hadley, another Cub) they are going to be tough to beat.

I still don't think that backcourt matches up with Moberly's. Moberly probably has the best backcourt in the country, not just Region 16.

you're right, moberly does have an AWESOME backcourt but the raider's is much closer to their's than it was last year, especially with tipler injured most of the season.

Moberly should have a great backcourt if all return. Smith, Gibbs & Hardaway are as good as it gets at the Juco level and Mikey White backing them up has me pumped.

i can't believe you guys added mikey white. when i heard that all i could think of was the rich getting richer. he definitely lit it up vs. bluff in the championship game. i like our backcourt of dom johnson and tony webb better than what we had last year but it still ranks behind the hounds. those 3 guys looked D-1 players last year to me.

You never know who else you guys might pick up before next year and if the Hounds are indeed retaining all our players. The key for 3 Rivers is Dom Johnson and how he adapts to a higher level of play. He sounds like a dandy though.

yeah, i've officiated some of his games and have seen him play a lot over the last 3 years and he's the real deal. left handed, can stroke the 3, great leaper, passer, penetrator, etc. some say his only weakness might be his ability to go to the right but i've never seen it as a hindrance. you're right, we've picked up some dandy players in the summer before so you never know. it's definitely gonna be an interesting year in region 16 next year, especially with the new faces on the sidelines. what about your assistant coach. does he have a shot at the job?

I don't know about the ass't. I believe he is very young but who knows. Dana Altman was only around 25 or 26 I believe when he took over the Hounds. If the players like Kyle a lot maybe he should be given a shot. But I believe there will be many experienced coaches applying. Hope Kyle stays on though as ass't. as I have heard a lot of good things about him.

Kyle is a good man but does not have a Masters Degree. Because the coach must also teach a class a Masters Degree is one of the requirements.

I've known Kyle since we went to SEMO together. The guy has a solid basketball background and is a heck of a recruiter. I saw him at several summer events in the last year, it's like the guy never stops working. I was very impressed with his efforts recruiting Dominitrix. If he doesn't get the head job, Moberly better hope they keep him on as an assistant. He is a big reason for their success.
