Trinity had 600 yards offense and scored 54 on defending class 3 champs John Burroughs
today. Trinity QB might be the best athlete in St. Louis he is lighting fast and
has tremendous touch throwing the ball. They have 2 div. 1 recruits in the line both
go 300 lbs with tremendous quickness. Don't think they will beat Lamar but they will
be competitive, what is scary is their skill players are non seniors.

I have heard that they brought some players from CBC and other St. Louis area programs to Trinity. They have a county of a million plus to recruit from. They should be very good. And people think Valle has a large pool to select from. I don't think that Malden will be a challenge. It looks like Lamar or Liberty might have their hands full in the finals.

So did they play last years JB team or this years? I'm pretty sure this years 3-5, #28 in Class 3 JB's team is different than last years class 3 champs? Could be wrong. Who knows

John Burrows is not as good they do have their all state running back and all
state QB back. Their linemen are not the same quality as last year. The conference
they are in is very good so if you don't have an outstanding team you will not
beat Lutheran North, MICDS, or Lutheran South this year. Trinty was non conference game I was
interested in the fact Trinty played them,in years past Trinty would of never played such a
powerful program.

I watched the Trinity/Burroughs game. Trinity is really good.

No one is the real deal in the St Louis area...except Valle. CBC will be 14-17 points under Blue Springs, should that game happen.

In Class 5, Chamanade will be exposed.

In Class 4. Parkway North? Nope.

Class 3. Maryville/Richmond

Class 2. Lamar

Hate to say it but high school football is played at more parts of the state than southwest
mo. Lamar is special but Trinity is very good, like I said Lamar is better but Trinity is good.
Parkway North is very good for class 4, they don't play class 4 teams their conf is class
5 and class 6 except for a couple mainly Parkway Central who is a good class 4 team. Berkely
is a very good class 3 team I dont think they are on the class of a Blair Oaks.

I don't think it was SWMO teams he was taking into consideration. It was the "lack of quality" that perennially comes out of the StL area in every class except 6. That is supported by the facts, going back at least 15 years. When you say a team in StL is "good," that is taken with a grain of salt.

This isn't the first time we have been told about how good a team is. I've watched Trinity's film, and I can assure you John Burroughs record reflects they are not the powerhouse they have been in the past. So gauging any late season performance on this game would be just emotions speaking. I do believe the odds are that Trinity will be at state game. However, they will have to pad up and play in the trenches with all 11 players. A few shining stars won't do it for them.

I don't see how you can pencil anybody into the championship game, besides perhaps Lamar. Even they looked off in their game against Valle with penalties and fumbles. There's quality teams unblemished so far that are not being talked about at all (Fair Grove, South Callaway, and Macon) that stand in their way along with the obvious choices of Liberty and the Grove.

Malden will provide a test in the quarters. Once again, the District 8 winner (Lawson or Lexington most likely) will be waiting in the semis. While not a shocker, I would be suprised if Trinity makes the final. Even if they do, it's clear to me that the other side of the bracket is the much sterner test, and they would be a decided underdog.

Teams like South Calloway who play in a super weak conference have played
some teams who they beat by 3 or 4 touchdowns that Trinity would of had down 50
to nothing at half. Like I said Lamar will hold down their QB more than anybody else can
but anybody that doesn't have Lamar type defense the QB for Trinity will have a field
day. And since you are giving us credit for class 6 opponents those are some of the
people Parkway North has played for years. What you must understand Parkway
North has never been in class 4 and their program is built on playing good class
5 and 6 teams. Up here St. Dominic 7 and 1 decent class 4 team MICDS 6 and 2
is a decent class 4 team but Parkway North will run them off the field it is a different
type of athlete they have, they don't play class 4 teams like that never have never will.

You're touting St Louis football teams, and accusing someone else of playing weak competition? There have been years John Burroughs didn't play one decent football team until the state title game.
