Northwest Academy ( Transportation Law High School ) defeated Miller Career last night 71-53. The Hornets play in the same league as class 4 power Vashon. The Hornets have played many out of state teams. The Hornets had to forfeit 5 games to start the season but since then have won 14 and lost 4.

Transportation Law has lost to 3 Missouri teams this season.
1. Vashon----79-69---Record---18-2
2. Ritenour---63-62---Record---16-6
3. CBC--------55-43---Record---15-8

The Hornets have four players scoring in double figures.
1. Jamarr Williams-----6'7" Jr.------26.8 PPG
2. Ryan Warren---------5'7' Sr.------16.7 PPG
3. Wilshon Warren-----6'3" Jr.-------13.4 PPG
4. Rayonte Childs------5'9" Jr.-------10.4 PPG

Class 3 district 6 teams
1. Duchesne---------16-8
2. North Tech--------12-7
3. Trinity---------------16-7
4. Luth North---------11-12
5. McCluer So.-------13-8
6. Sumner---------------5-11
7. Orchard Farm-----13-10
8. Trans. Law---------14-9

If Transportation Law can win district 6--district 5 winner most likely Cardinal Ritter in the sectional. Judging from the above, and the 18 point win over a decent Miller Career team, when will the Hornets check in their uniforms?

Do we have anyone out there who believes the Hornets will be a class 3 final four team?

Looks like we were thinking the same thing. I posted about them in the class 3 darkhorse thread. The winner of the Northwest/Ritter game will be the favorite to win class 3. The district championship game at Lutheran North last year between Ritter and Northwest was a classic with Northwest leading the entire game and Ritter pulling it out in the last minute.

And it's Jamarr Williams, not Jamarr Warren.

I agree Northwest is a real threat and that them or Ritter will win 3A but Williams is not averaging that many points. The update on Stltoday for them is completely off. It has him averaging 24 rebounds a game also. Plus Vashon beat them by 18 not by 10 and they were down a lot more than that. They also had to forfeit like 3 games early in the year that won because of using illegal players.
