Grichuk is not in the lineup this evening. Any chance he is being packaged for a first sacker who doesn't strike out 35% of the time?

By the way, Piscotty was a late scratch tonight at Memphis with no explanation given.

Pham isn't looking quite so spectacular now.

Who is this guy that's gonna save us and what will it cost to get him?

I'll tell you when the deal is made.
I'll probably be able to find myself IF a deal is made. They're about get the guy was their best hitter back in the lineup and the big guy in RF has come around nicely. The other regulars need to step up and hit like they are capable of. I'm not opposed to getting a big bat but the farm system is not over loaded with talent like it was a couple of years ago, so who you gonna give up to get that bat for half a season?

We have a couple of pretty good pitching prospects, but I doubt they will be moved, Reyes, etc.

The great thing about being a fan is that I don't have to figure that out 3R. They have all those PhD types sitting at their computers thinking they are smart "baseball men" who will tell Mo what to do

Yeah it's a whole lot easier to just say do something NOW than to actually be the guy trying to make the deal isn't it! And probably a lot more fun too. :D

Actually I don't think it is that difficult to make a deal. First of all, I hate strikeouts so I would have never signed Reynolds. I would have dipped into the coffers and signed Nelson Cruz and not traded Shelby. Cruz is weak in right but he can hit.

Defense is so over rated......
You hate strikeouts but you think defense is overrated? What happened to a strikeout is just another out? ALL the saber metric guys say so. I think it's crazy to have guys striking out so much but it doesn't seem to bother people any more.

Hey dipwad, do you see the smiley face?
Good lord.

Ok a smirky face. That was quite the tape measure bomb by Jhonny. Haha Cubs.
