Track season

Note many of those times were at the KU Relays and were greatly wind-aided.
From a previous post, to the best of my knowledge, Ballard has not had a track team before and those fast times at the Adrian Invitational were much faster than other times either had all year and were possibly wind-aided and hand-timed. The young man from Miami did not run at the district meet.

I think they had a 'north' wind that day at Adrian. They had a much stronger 'south' wind at districts. They did purchase the electronic time equipment this past year but I don't know if it's being used at every meet.

I can attest the Ballard freshman has 'jets'. 50.6 400 i think? No wind aiding that.

I'm interested to see the two different sectionals at Plattsburg this week. Some FAST times especially on the girls side. Some big time shot put distances as well for the gentlemen.
