I had a kid try to get out of the 2 mile by stabbing his foot with a knife. He still ran.

Much rather see the throws and jumps posted in feet, instead of meters. Don't want to do the math to convert so that it makes sense.Asher Buggs-Tipton from Green City 13.87 in the 110 hurdles.
Jackson Cantwell from Nixa 191' in the discus
Zach Grace from Kearney 184' in the discus
Calen Presser, Librerty North 189 in javelin.
All Ranked top 20 in the U.S.
Kid I saw Really impressed me the other day. The Wolf kid from Webb City! Tore his ACL in October. Weighs 225 lbs ,maybe more from looking at him. Ran a 10.8 100m in his first meet of the year!
His ex-wife rang the dinner bell!Go Sheldon go..!

Heston Miller of WP ran a 6.85 in the 60m during indoor season @ 6’1 215 lbs
I believe that time has him in the national Top 20/25
He recently put up 335 on bench as a WR/ATH if I’m not mistaken.
Not sure on his 100m times this year, but if he’s any faster than last year, that’s going to be insane.
He ran a 4.40 laser timed 40. I know that much.
Ya think? My better half works with mom. Walked into a work social thingy last summer and mom, dad, and Jackson are all standing next to each other playing a game. Holy smokes, just an impressive site of physically gifted folks. And just couldn’t be nicer people.Cantwell has good blood lines.
Back when his dad was in high school, they would have to shut the entire track meet down at Osage to let him throw the discus. That was when they threw in the middle of football field.Ya think? Bite your tongue! Second soccer game in the books, scored second goal. 3-4 yr old league. She’s one of the younger ones. My fear is she’ll dominate the damned thing next year. I’m gonna have to take the “goal gets a Barbie” motivator away. Goals get broccoli!Probably good at all 3....
He wasn’t listed in the 100m or the 200m on there which I find odd.Zizzer Relays 2023 - Complete

I would say his dad probably has him doing speed work even if he isn’t running track.I am not sure on specifics just some water cooler chat at work that said he was not doing it. I would assume to focus on football stuff. But then again I would think MSU would want him to be doing track for the speed work.

The fact that he did indoor season but not outdoor is shocking.
Wasn’t he second in the 200m at state last year? And I think 4th? in the 100m
I’m guessing he's just bulking up for MSU then.
Or maybe there’s something else going on
I think your maybe, may be right. I'm guessing there's something else going on. It would be stupid for him not to run track. Perhaps an injury, saving him for the end of the season, or got in some trouble is why he hasn't ran yet. Not sure what kind of policies WP has for certain things as far as missing time, but we'll see if he suddenly appears in the next couple weeks or so.The fact that he did indoor season but not outdoor is shocking.

When is the last time Ballard and Miami both had a kid in the 12s let alone the low to mid 11s?

Miller from WP is entered to run in the conference track meet today...only in the 100 though. Interested to see how he does first time out.
Miller finished 2nd running a 10.72 100m in his first race of the season.Miller from WP is entered to run in the conference track meet today...only in the 100 though. Interested to see how he does first time out.
I saw that. He got that one required meet in, so he is eligible for districts. Very convenient timing.
There are 41 guys under 11.0 in the 100m this year in MissouriHe wasn’t listed in the 100m or the 200m on there which I find odd.
The WP 4x100 did finish 2nd, less than half a second behind 1st place Waynesville
And also finished 2nd to Waynesville in the 4x200
