He got his first hit, a double, in his rehab stint today and the oddity of it is he drove in Bader and Ozuna. I/3 of our starting lineup for a good portion of the season is down there and the Birds are kicking some Cub's azzz!.Odds: Bo-80%
Sticks-20%
I am hoping like heck for the sticks because
Carp appears to be going the way of Alan Craig.
This is the division the Cards play in so I don't care where they beat the Cubs or who else beats them on when the Cubs visit. All ya gotta a do is get in the playoffs and see what happens. The Cubbies are just pitiful on the road.
They are seriously underachieving.

If Cards do make the postseason they’ll either play the Dodgers at some point or face someone who eliminates them.We can get in and hope to H we don’t face the Dodgers.
He has some tools, but I can’t imagine he grades to much more than a nice utility option.Kid can definitely play. It'll be interesting to follow his time in StL. Will he stick or be more like a Bo Hart? I hope for the former.
The funk Carp is in either Edman or Munoz HAS to play. They said tonight what the record is when Edman plays, when he gets a hit and when he starts. It's VERY good.He has some tools, but I can’t imagine he grades to much more than a nice utility option.
I don’t disagree. He needs to play. Carp is awful. But Edman is no more than a utility player. It’s not like you plan for him being your everyday 3B. I just don’t understand why Edman and/or Munoz get starts in the OF. They’re both Martinez level bad defensively, and you’re choosing them over Thomas and Arozarena (when he was up). Doesn’t make sense. And the whole Bader thing is baffling too. I get why, when Carp came back, you give him an opportunity. I think they stuck with him too long though. But Bader? It’s just confusing as hell as to why they wouldn’t play Thomas or Arozarena regularly. It’s like they didn’t want them to play, and play well, and not be able to play Bader. Bader is literally Colby Effing Rasmus at this point. And they have other very good options. The funk Carp is in either Edman or Munoz HAS to play. I guess we have seen different games with those guys in the outfield. I've seen nothing horrible about them when they're out there. Both have speed and very good arms.I don’t disagree. This X a billion. Most major leaguers you could put out there and catch something hit right to them and throw it back in. But the routes those guys take to balls are horrid. Thomas is actually a really, really good OF'er, who has done nothing but rake when given the few opportunities he's had. Yet they continue to decide to play IF'ers out there, who aren't all that great offensively. Or Bader and his sub Mendoza line average. Granted, Bader does look a bit better since he came back. Why anyone would throw him anything other than a slider (or changeup from a lefty) is beyond me though.Their path to the ball. Their jump on the ball off the bat. Positioning to ready themselves to throw. Skills developed over time.
