Congratulations on super team DeSmet forcing Joplin into more turnovers this game than they had all year total to snatch a win from SWMO. Without 5 turnovers ...Joplin wins but in all honestly ...DeSmet was the better team but the game could have went either way. St Louis has the best athletes in the state ...hands down ...not even close . St Louis is where it's at as far as d1 guys go but I'd like to think that SWMO proved you can win with a bunch of d2 calliber football players that are coached very well!

DeSmet is awesome...I really thought they would blow out Joplin . They didn't and Joplin made a ton of mistakes . You'd be dumb if you watched that game and decided Joplin was better but they didn't help themselves. I can't help but to think if Joplin doesn't turn it over 5 times they steal one

Joplin is the coc champ and second best team in class 6. Carthage is in the class 5 championship and Webb is in the class 4 championship . The coc was super top heavy but the top was crazy good

Im from St Louis but Im a Joplin defender because I couldn’t believe that people thought they were only ranked high Because of schedule and would be like the 8-10th best team in KC.

The defense was mediocre at best. They gave up 197 points in conference. They gave up 55 points to cTOWN. WEBB gave up 7 to cTOWN. Joplin didn’t even face our no 1 QB and yes Joplin had a couple very good kids. That much better I think your reaching a little..

I ain’t to sure Harlen isn’t the fastest. I don’t know about running a hundred. But running ten yards and hitting somebody that kid gets there quick..

I am 100% a defense guy. I think my biggest loss from a player standpoint will be Perez. For a kid that size to play the way he does, he has been very impressive..

Um Webb doesnt play the top teams in Class 6 regularly obviously. Its not ignorant to think that the Class 6 winner every year in Missouri is the best team in the State. Especially the last 4/5 years.

Those were good games. The Har-Ber teams were not near as good as CBC. Haven't watched DeSmet so can't say.

Well then hey if you Want state-wide recognition of best considered THEE best team in the state then toughen up the schedule.

Lets be honest Webb is Hardly challenged in Class 4 year in and year out. Its no consistently good programs, it would actually be more difficult to win Class 3 year in and year out.

Also being Class 4 you miss out on the big KC schools and Big STL schools. So while Webb would still be good they aren’t consistently challenged in Class 4.
