You can't show a kid come in with an aide. Then every person in the world knows they are getting accomodation and that's against the law.

I will say this though: it's interesting watching the folks scared of 'the deep state' that claim to be against government lining up to ....film their kids 24/7/365 in a school setting.

Odd. It's almost like they're being manipulated for political reasons .

As I've said before, consistency on a rhetorical position is very difficult for them, nearly impossible for some.

You can't just throw a big blanket on all situations ..of video and audio surveillance.

The federal govt. spying on and taking phone data, computer data, actively spying on conversations from private residence etc. in complete fishy expeditions is a totally different animal....

Than a local school district, controlled by a local school board with local community employee's that are in control of the Video and Audio surveillance to monitor students and employee's to keep them safe and secure. And to protect them legally if a situation does occur.

Students carry around cell phones and video everything, almost all entertainment venues and private sector business video their patrons, many private residence have video surveillance from mounted Camera's to their Door Fancy Door bells.

I have little issue with that....I do take issue with the Fed's doing this without the proper legal warrants and oversite operating under vague Acts of so called National Security...as I said if you can't see the difference then that's on you.

I find it odd you can't see the nuances and vast difference's in the two situations.

Does Missouri not have doctor/patient confidentiality laws that would preclude having microphones and surveillance in a doctor/patient setting? I am coming from a position of some ignorance on this because I do not know.

It's not effected unless a Doctor or other employee took that info/Video/Audio etc. and gave it to unauthorized individuals, the public etc.. In the case of let's say a Patient attacking a Doctor or Psychologist in therapy and the case then became a criminal investigation then yes that video and Audio could be used.

People that don't have access to a student's IEP can't be informed about their accommodations.
Anyone watching a video with a kid having an aide in a classroom is a violation.
That's just one example.

There will be Pro's and Con's if this comes about. At first I suspect some over zealous parents will cause waves....then as things tend to do the new will wear off and the status quo will come back. With parents going about there everyday lives and the class room will be back to normal.

I'm not sure why discussions of WW2/Holocaust would be muted? If those topics are not throttled down now why would they be if a Camera is in the classroom? How would presenting those topics and asking for opinions and thoughts be stopped by a Camera?

Just had a thought. Could you imagine if the teachers at Newtown had been wearing cameras? If a video of something like that ever came out the uproar for gun changes would really make these guys regret wanting cameras in the classroom.

If I have owned property in town x why can't my child go to school there? I pay taxes in the district.
