The Robin Report 2024

It’s about to get ugly. They have 1 more cupcake on their non-conference schedule then the SEC part of their schedule begins.

Mizzou is done with their NAIA schedule and played South Carolina. Lost 83-52.

They had 20 turnovers to 10 assists. Remember when teams used to want an 2-1 assist to turnover ratio.

Mizzou blows a 10 point 4th quarter lead against Georgia the other night.

And they play 10-7 unranked Florida in an hour. Gonna try to watch some of the game but don’t know if I’ll have time.

Mizzou actually won a conference game. Beat Mississippi State by 1. BTW, Grand Canyon currently 19-2.

12-10 on the year and 1-6 in the SEC I believe.

They’ll be .500 in no time. They will be lucky to finish with 2 wins in conference.

Next 6 games:

1/30- #5 Texas
2/2- #18 Tennessee
2/6- #7 LSU
2/9- Texas A&M
2/16- #13 Oklahoma
2/20- #12 Kentucky

They will be the bottom seed in the SEC tourney and get blown out and Robin can finally pack her bags.

And just like that the lady tigers fall to .500 on the year.
They’re 1-8 in the SEC and have lost 8 out of their last 9 games.

Record v.s. Power Conference Teams: 1-9

Pingeton sure is boosting that impressive winning percentage against Power and Conference opponents that she’s built at Mizzou.

Mizzou actually has been very competitive the last 3 games. Beat Mississippi State and had 2 close losses to Texas and Tennessee. I do not want Mizzou AD to use close losses as a reason to bring back Pingeton however.

Grand Canyon currently 21-2.

Mizzou loses by double digits to LSU and falls to 12-13 and 1-9 in the SEC.

Pingeton continues her quest to finish last in the SEC for the 2nd year in a row.

Don’t know. But Miller had over a 90% win percentage in Division II and that win percentage translated to her current Division 1 job. Miller recruits speed and quickness. If you want to win in SEC you have to have speed.

Mizzou cares so little about their women’s basketball they just might.

Mizzou Football: nationally ranked
Mizzou Basketball; nationally ranked
Mizzou Softball: nationally ranked
Mizzou Wrestling: nationally ranked
Mizzou Volleyball: nationally ranked
Mizzou Gymnastics: nationally ranked

Mizzou Womens Basketball: ranked next to last in SEC

Mizzou with another 2nd half collapse.

Lady Tigers fall to 13-15 overall and 2-11 in conference.

Still tied for last in SEC

3 games left.

1 of which against Arkansas(also tied for last) could possibly decide who officially finishes last in conference.

Ole Miss did everything they could to give Mizzou the win. 2 offensive fouls and an air ball in the last 2 minutes. Ole Miss went to the line with 9 seconds left up 1 and went 0-2 but Ole Miss got the rebound. Mizzou fouls and Ole Miss again goes 0-2 from the line and Ole Miss gets offensive rebound. Ole Miss goes 1-2. Mizzou had a good look at the end but missed.

I have faith that RP can get it done against Arkansas this week and clinch last place in the SEC two years in a row.

Says she has the 2nd highest winning percentage in Mizzou Women’s history at 53% in 15 years. You take out the 4 years that Cunningham was here and that percentage takes a nosedive.

Mizzou wins a thriller tonight over Arkansas (9-21)

Mizzou secures 2nd to last place at best in the SEC with the win.

Pingeton gets win #250 in a rivalry game on the road. Probably her final win as the head coach at Mizzou.

The Pingeton era is finally over. Mizzou was up 7 at half but is outscored by 27 in the second half and lose to Mississippi State 75-55.

Pingeton went to 4 NCAA tournaments during her time at Mizzou, all Sophie Cunningham years. The furthest Mizzou got was round of 32. Unbelievable Mizzou let this go on for so long.

Rumor has it Molly Miller to Mizzou is already a done deal.
