I don't care if the dirty Democrats are capitalizing on political climate and anti-Trump. It's just plain wrong to keep the monuments. They are not beautiful by any stretch, and no matter how hard the left fight Trump and play the race card it's just wrong to allow this continue. All other narratives don't mean crap. Remove all of them. There is no good reason to keep them no matter how ridiculous the left is. Let this be wiped off the face of America once and for all.

Take a lot of C4 to get rid of Stone Mountain

Erase our country's history, cool.
Sometimes I question myself on issues I may not understand. This issue I know beyond a shadow of a doubt, it's wrong to keep the monuments. On this issue, I actually agree with Al Sharpton. If the President is motivated to keep the monuments for the sake of preserving history I think there are many ways to do this beyond monuments. Cut this cancer out. Get rid of it. We will never forget history. It's not possible in today's age of left. They will remind us every single day. Remove them for nothing less than preventing more violence. Sick of it. The statues were created to rub the face of African Americans whether they know it or not. If the monuments were not a symbol of racism the Nazis sure made them one in circa 2017.

Stone Mountain Georgia was BS racist crap when I was a kid and is now more than ever. Frankly, I am disappointed that some terrorist hasn't bombed it. The Nazis that want to march against the removal of the monument are a bunch of p***sies too. They're not even good at what they protest. Their leaders are not worthy of pity and below the level of village idiots. In 2017. Black leaders of today must be completely ignorant to allow these eye sores to remain. I've stewed on this all day, and before I didn't care, now I have seen the light.

I disagree.

Fair enough.

I've stewed on this all day, and before I was indifferent because it is so senseless, now I have seen the light. I don't advocate violence, nor am I willing to die for it, but the monuments serve no good. We must understand the present and let the dead be dead.

As a native American... I say you all have worn out your welcome....

If the Left would be satisfied with "just" the statues then I'd be on board. The problem arises however that the Far Left Wing nut jobs like Bill Maher would not be satisfied.

The crusade to tear down Hobby Lobby and the like could now be realized.

The proposed Law called "The Fairness Doctrine" could be resurrected and Talk Radio could finally be silenced.

Political Correctness could take US back to the days of the 80s where our sports teams were racist and now be justly punished.

The Washington Redskins and Kansas City Chiefs were just two.

Retribution for Slavery would also be on the table.
After all your ancestors were racist.

Do we really want to go down that road again?

No white person alive today has ever owned a slave,,,and not a single black person has been a slave picking cotton.

Hell of a lot more important things to devote our energy to these days than some stupid statues in parks.

Everyone should look to building a brighter future instead of dwelling on the past

With that said it's time to get ready for gametime!!!!!

In the grand scheme of things, there are far more important things to worry about.

A lot of the state/local governments we elect do have enough time to deal with this stuff. If they have time to name a bridge for Stan Musial, they have time to clean up old statues and stuff like that.

Typical liberal, stands for nothing.

The statues were put there by Democrats for the most part and are being removed by Democrats for the most part. They should be allowed to remove their foolishness but they do belong to the municipalities now.
Did see a poll that over 60 % said the statues should remain. Even a plurality of blacks said they should remain.....I think it was Marist.

I thought you 'conservatives' wanted more things turned over to the states to handle. Why would post what you did after what he said?

Conservatism starts at the Top.

Either you're Conservative or your not.

To many FAKE REPUBLICANS acting the Conservative part during the election but change their tune once elected.

RINO REPUBLICANS, FAKE CONSERVATIVES
One in the same...

Sure I want the "States" to control "their own" destiny but I also want to have a "friend" in a Conservative Republican Party that right now owns the White House.

A House and Senate that goes against everything we stand for is pointless.

VOTE THEM OUT

If you think Trump is, or ever was, a conservative you've lost your mind.

Trump has the potential to hurt those poll numbers given the reflexive partisan responses in this country

Old news 3R.

Our Choices were...
Ultra Rich Liberal Nut (vs) Ultra Liberal B from Hell

We made the right choice
If Clinton was as crooked as you guys claim she would have long been behind bars. That stuff IS fake news and you know it.

Who is Stan Musial?

I say destroy the St. Louis arch, too. After all, it represents expansion of the west and, therefore, the oppression and genocide of native Americans. Better blow it up before it offends somebody.

There you go Raw!! As somebody who was a history major in college, I hate to see history destroyed. We need to learn from it, not destroy it.

3R you obviously don't understand anything I post.

Just because Hillary Clinton was not convicted of a crime in a court of "Man" does not make her innocent in the court of "The Almighty",

I "personally" think her defense of a child rapist and destruction of that child's life in order to win a case in court makes her guilty as hell in the eyes of God and if she never did another thing wrong in her life, it would never make up for that.

Now go on and proceed to defend her once again with your...
"But she wasn't convicted of a crime" ....defense."

I do not care ...

What the hell does 'convinced' of a crime mean? If lawyers would not defend somebody that might be guilty there would have to be a LOT more prisons and lot of innocent people would be in them. Prosecutors have to prove their case or let em go. How many people have we seen released after YEARS in prison when they were never guilty of the crime they were charged with. Maybe not a perfect system but I haven't seen anything better in other countries.

Siri let me down again, typical woman.
"Convinced" (vs) "Convicted"

Just saying that years ago Hillary had the opportunity to say no I'm not taking this case. The cost would be to high for that little girl who we all think is telling the truth.

If I take this case her "life" will be ruined.

If I don't take this case "my" career will be ruined.

I choose me....

That could be said of nearly any lawyer that has handled criminal cases. Someone would have taken the case, if Clinton won the case many others would have too. YOU choose to pick on Clinton because she doesn't share you political views.

Has nothing to do with political calculation. There are Republican folks that would and have done the same thing.

The real question might be something like this...

Is my career so important to me that I'm willing to destroy the innocent childhood of a little girl just to do what "I" want to do?

I say no.

You would say yes I guess, that's "your" choice.

I wouldn't have any say. MANY lawyers would and somebody has to defend these people according to the laws of this country. Would you have them give less than there best to defend their client? If so where do you draw the line? Should they not defend someone based on the crime they are accused of committing or based the person the crime was committed against? How do you do either if you are a lawyer sworn to do your duty?

Work for a railroad.

Attacking a lawyer for doing their job and defending a client is usually a really lame attack. Everyone deserves fair representation by qualified counsel.

ABC poll out yesterday shows 28% of Americans support Trumps position,,,,probably higher than that truth be told

So what's your point? Is it that 28% of Americans are right and 72% of Americans are wrong or is it that 28% of Americans are racist. Just asking.

28% are right IF Trumps position is actually
1. The Nazi's and the like are a bunch of idiots who have no place in our society, but they a right as citizens to their own views and to peacefully assemble .

2. that the ANTIFA people showing up assaulting people, destroying personal and public property and promoting violence to further their cause are as bad or worse than the right wing idiots. (when is the last time you saw right wing activists destroying property?)

3. That SOME of the people at the rally were fine people. Many people in our country see the memorials and statues as monuments to their ancestors who fought and died for their cause. They are not all skinhead idiots. And that Some of the left wing people there came to peacefully protest the rally and were not part of the violence the alt left people started.

Everyone needs to back up and tone the rhetoric down or we might as well lock and load and start the war all over again.
