The new worst call in the history of football

I hope this is sarcasm... He literally did nothing that resembled taunting.
If you knew the rules, you would know that a ball carrier altering his stride in the area of the goal line is specifically identified as an unsportsmanlike act.

you may not like the rule, but the official called it correctly

But the same play by Caleb Williams at OU wasn't a penalty? Consistency and common sense Mr. Rule of the law man

I don't have a clue,,,,I wouldn't be caught dead watching Oklahoma. Post a link to the play and I will review it for you :)

Here you go, truth of the matter is neither really is taunting unless you are an official trying to call a penalty to negate a TD because you favor one team over the other

Caleb Williams TD- puts ball over his head

Caleb did not alter his stride before entering the end zone. Holding the ball over his head and spreading his arms are not a penalty because they didnt occur in the field of play (and probably would not be considered taunting or unsportsmanlike to start with)

Slowing down. looking over your shoulder and skipping into the endzone are exactly what was brought out as a point of emphasis for officials before this season started. They are just doing what they were told to do.

IF it was up to me skipping into the end zone, or a defensive lineman coldcocking the runner for doing it would neither be a penalty :)

He did do it at the 2 and a half yard line which is in the field of play, The cyclone player looked like the had thought about it and then thought better of it. You get into the idea of intent which the ref has no clear idea on. To me putting the ball above your head still in the field of play is much worse than what the Cyclone player did, but obviously not the worst call in the history of the game, but if you truly watch that and think taunting you A are the official who made the call or related to the person, B. an OK State fan, or C hate Iowa State, because nothing about that regardless of rule of the law is taunting even the "rules" expert who Fox hires said it looked nothing like taunting.
