The 232nd time someone said “No Collusion “ it was Mueller

How am I being a troll when I say the numbers you're giving out, from whatever the source, is way higher than any I have ever heard of, EVER! You can post it 5000 times, it's still higher than anything I've ever seen or heard of.

I've linked the numbers to credible sources.

Not my fault you dont read links. Either do your own research, read what I've sourced and make an informed decision, or just trust that the numbers I've consistently stated (12 to 18 million) are correct.

Or just dont sound off on something you are OBVIOUSLY uninformed on.

He's informed! CNN informed.
It ain't just CNN that has been saying about 12 million for quite some time. I did hear today the number picked up crossing the border in the last month was the highest monthly total since 2008. So NO this is NOT the highest ever and the last time it was this high was at the end of 8 years of a republican administration! After that it dropped for many years. Now two years into the Trump administration it seems like everybody says it's back up to Bush level crossings. Maybe the pubs got some splainin to do. :p

Maybe they're actually keeping track and not turning a blind eye like the Dems do.

Must be a blind eye on the border even with all the military folks there when there is so many 'slipping in undetected'.

Yeah I'm sure it's easy to keep an eye on 2000 miles of border. If only there was something there to stop them...

Dems offered money for technology to use to see the border better, scan trucks crossing at the legal ports of entry AND enough additional border patrol agents to have one for every mile of the border. Guess who shot that down that deal, the guy that says he wants to secure the border!!

Because it's not enough. That's putting a band aid on a bullet wound.

Why do something halfway and then have to keep coming back with more stopgap solutions and wasting more money, when you could just do it right once? Build the wall, use technology, and patrol it.

Why wouldn't it be good to have enough agents to patrol about a mile each AND use drones AND use equipment to see what the trucks are hauling when they cross at the LEGAL ports of entry where most of the drugs come in? Why be so hung up on a wall when the money was out there to fix the problem.?

Why spend more money on a wall, use that money on the other stuff that will do it better and NOT take property away from people on the border to do it?

Because that makes too much sense.

If that stuff worked we wouldn't have the problem we have today.

-build the wall

-use technology to check vehicles, ensure tunnels aren't being dug, drones, etc.

-increase border guards

-give illegals NO incentives to be here. Do not allow them to go to public schools/universities, do not give them access to welfare, don't rent to them, make it hell for them to be here.

What the heck are you talkin about ? You just said use technology and more border patrol right after you said if that stuff worked we wouldn't have a problem. WE have NEVER installed the technology nor have we increased the border partrol as much as the money the dems offered would do so you have NO way to know if it would work. I can't imagine the border patrol folks couldn't handle a mile or two per agent and catch all the people they need to.

1. Learn to read.

2. I said use the tech and additional resources IN ADDITION to a wall.

3. We have minimum 12 million illegals in this country who crossed at the border, need something more effective than one border guard per mile. I've already addressed this with you, but you're obstinate, so I'll say it again, not addressing this issue properly is the same as putting a band aid on a bullet wound. Do it right the first time instead of having to readdress it every two or three years and wasting even more time and tax dollars.

That's bullshit and YOU know it! The 12 million being counted have come here over MANY, MANY years not there last 2 or 3, including about 4 million that got amnesty from conservative hero Ronald Reagan. If we pay for the tech and border patrol for every mile or two why spend money on a wall too? Use that money on REAL infrastructure projects and give a lot of people good paying jobs for many years. We WILL have to do it someday anyway, we better get on with it cause it gonna get any cheaper by putting it off.

If they got amnesty THEY ARENT ILLEGAL ANYMORE. You agree with me and dont even realize it.

To quote you

"We WILL have to do it someday anyway, we better get on with it cause it gonna get any cheaper by putting it off."

That applies to the wall. I agree we need more money in ALL infrastructure projects, dont disagree one bit. But 5 billion for a wall is a drop in the bucket, is necessary, and will employ all kinds of people in construction, maintenance, and patrolling it.

It is NOT necessary if you use the tech stuff the dems offered lots of money for. There are places they plan to build the wall that will leave U.S. citizens on the WRONG side of the wall. They will be between the wall and the river. How is right to TAKE their property and leave them with basically nothing where their house is.
In his 1st year HE agreed on a plan to fix DACA and get $25 billion for some more wall AND all the other stuff needed to do the job. When it came down to it he caved to a woman talking head and fat guy on the radio that called him names and said he he was weak. THAT was the deal he should have taken and run with and he would already have some wall to show for it along with the other stuff to secure the border.

How do you know?
How do you know it ain't the answer? Why can't enough agents to cover every mile or two enough to catch anyone that tries to come across. Either way what is happening now that seems to be so overwhelming is people coming to 'legal ports of entry' and being let in with no place to put them. You still haven't told me where all these people are coming from all at once. 25,000 a week? REALLY? That's about 3600 per day, 7 days a week. At that rate the big caravan we had could have ALL been let in the country in TWO DAYS. I just ain't buyin those numbers, I don't care who puts them out.

Because you dont want to, not because you have any evidence that they arent real.

Yes, your feeble attempts at debate are boring. Dont worry about verifiable data, go with your feelings.

You know, the same way mass shootings account for .002% of all gun violence, but you want to disarm law abiding citizens because CNN makes you feel unsafe.

The fact that you can ignore data and then blame it on the president says a lot about you.

Dan: you are triumphant. You are destroying people in every debate. You can copy and paste better than all others. We all dream of being as smart and powerful as you. Its over. We concede.

Now move on to something that matters and we might engage with you so you can once again overwhelm us with your brilliance.

The only thing I've copied and pasted was the article with immigration statistics since some of you libs are too lazy to click on a link.

Illegal immigration DOES matter. Dont get so butthurt, try posting something factual or constructive, I'm very open to having my mind changed, not my fault none of you can do anything but cry and/or throw tantrums.

You can show me all the stats you want about gun ownership or provide acedotal evidence about self defense. I just dont care. I believe that a civilized nation does not need to have millions of AR-15s and huge magazines and bump stocks in the hands of every day citizens. That is not the America I envisioned in my youth nor the one I want now.

Statistics regarding immigration are fine too.
But I dont care.

Nothing anecdotal, just stats and facts.

Of course libs dont care about the truth.

I live in the world that is, not the one I wish existed.

Alex Nowrasteh, with the libertarian Cato Institute, analyzed the Texas data to make a comparison of immigrants in the country illegally and native-born residents. In a recent post he noted that in 2015 Texas police made 815,689 arrests of native-born Americans, 37,776 arrests of immigrants in the country illegally and 20,323 arrests of legal immigrants. Given the relative populations for each group, he wrote, “The arrest rate for illegal immigrants was 40 percent below that of native-born Americans.”

In addition, he wrote, the homicide arrest rate for native-born Americans was “about 46 percent higher than the illegal immigrant homicide arrest rate.”

Other research from the Cato Institute attempted to provide national estimates. A study published on June 4 used data from the Census Bureau’s American Community Survey for 2016 and applied statistical modeling to estimate the number of incarcerated immigrants in the country illegally. It filtered the data using characteristics correlated with being an immigrant in the country illegally, such as whether someone is a noncitizen but has not served in the military or received Social Security income. The research concluded: “Illegal immigrants are 47 percent less likely to be incarcerated than natives.” (And legal immigrants are even less likely to be in jail or prison.)

DHS currently has a bit over 12,000 people in custody.

47%???

Why are a third of felons in federal prisons illegal imigrants then??

We already have hundreds of miles of wall and fence about a mile north of the Rio Grande with Americans living between the two,,,, been that way for years.

I agree with taking all foreign aid away from every country north of the Panama Canal and shutting the border down completely. The governments of those countries are complicit and must be held accountable

Which is all great, but they're committing a crime just being in this country.

As AG Barr had to explain to Democrats at his conformation hearing,,,93% of drugs confiscated crossing the border are seized at staffed border checkpoints BECAUSE we have fencing and security and people there to stop them.

The tons of drugs that make it over the border and poison our people flow across where there are absolutely no barriers or people to stop them.

20’ tall wall and a marine in a tower every 1/4 mile to drive the point home would fix the problem

Also need to change the law so that just because a person gets on US soil that they have almost full constitutional rights. If they cross illegally they should be deported and never allowed back in

The U.S. only checks a tiny percentage of vehicles coming across the border for drugs.

There you go with the normal ridiculous response about guns. NO one is trying to 'disarm' law abiding citizens, get over that old line.
