A threat to earn the Class 3 title nearly every season the
Lutheran North Crusaders return plenty of firepower in 2011-2012 seasons to
entertain the thought of travel plans in March.

6-foot-1 inch senior guard James Mitchell
returns along with 5-foot-10 inch junior guard Anthony Virdure.
A season ago Virdure led the way averaging 15.3 points per game, connecting on
40% from beyond the arc. Mitchell added 10.3 points per game, getting to
the free throw time more than 100 times, and leading the team in rebounds with
nearly 8 per contest.

Inside 6-foot-4 inch senior forward DaVante Harrell returns.
He averaged 8.1 points last season, pulling down 5 rebounds per game. In
addition to a solid ABC league schedule the Crusaders will again challenge
themselves competing against a solid slate of Class 5 programs in the St.
Charles West, MICDS, and CBC tournaments.

Veteran head coach Brent Rueter has guided
the Crusaders to the Show-Me Showdown on several occasions providing outstanding
leadership.
