To all coaches, parents, and players on here; support your boosters! I've been a booster my entire life for the Ampipe Bulldogs, and have enjoyed every day of it. Without us boosters, who else would organize fundraisers, dinners, pep rallies, etc? I always took my booster duties very seriously, because these players would be skipping school, cutting class, or walking to school in the rain. Do you want your star players showing up cold and wet on game day? A thought for all you coaches, remember that if you start losing or letting the program slip, boosters can run you out of town! I've seen it happen before. Its a good idea to keep your boosters happy.....

What is it called when a Booster turns his back on the people he had been boosting for year just because of 1 loss?

I gotta hand it to you Bosko, you really live up being a booster. I mean, you drive players to school, make sure they are in class, and even buy them beer!

Its called doing whats best for the program! I saw where Coach Nickerson was taking the program. How many times in a row had we lost to Walnut Heights? We didn't get any respect. How many tickets did they give us? Most of us had to stand along the fences or listen on the radio!

You are good at slinging trash..............

YOU DIDNT run me out of town BOSKO- I took a college job, where I eventually had a LITTLE bit of success...........
Slinging trash? I wouldn't know anything about that. You need to talk to Stef about slinging trash! And you got ran out of town! How many years did you lose to Walnut Heights? Youre right on the LITTLE success! You only won a national championship because of Bo Whitley!

Hey- someone had to recruit Bo Whitley and put him in an offense that fit him so the 6-2 stack monster could tear up NCAA.
Way to throw Stef under a bus when he was just doing what you told him......... You were there.........
Youre darn right I was there!! That was me and the rest of Ampipe running you out of town!!! Did you see me sling any trash?? I was doing what a good head booster does....LEAD!!

Bosco- you know after I left I went to Cal Poly, won national championships at Minnesota State AND went to the NFL and got the Breakers in position to win-

What we havent heard is what has happened at Ampipe since I left..........
That's because all the drama left with you! Ampipe has, and always will be, a tough, hard-working, blue collar town. We do our work, keep our heads down, and then go home.

So I am counting my rings and my millions, and remembering a tragic event involving dead people, and you are still in the steel mill, wonder if Stef ever saw you around?

I never saw him around, because like you Coach I never had a reason to go back. too many memories, to much bad blood... you name it. Pop and Greg are still there. But they usually come to see once a year or so. Pop is out of the Mill, Greg is not.

Please! Stef bolted town as soon as you came back and never looked back. Heck, he wasn't tough enough to work in the steel mill anyways. People always talk about your pre game speech, it seems most of you all forget my pep rally speech. " This rally, this game, is not just for the students...its for the whole town!!!! Its for the mothers, the fathers, and the STEEL WORKERS!!!! Now here is the man that is going to bring us to victory, and bring Ampipe back to what it used to be. Coach Nickerson!!!!" That crowd was going crazy!!!

I just watched (for the 2nd time) your alls documentary...man is it good! I own it in Blu-ray! Your speech Bosko, was really exciting. Just watching it made me want to go play Walnut Heights!! Would you all be willing to sign my dvd case!?!?

You should have seen my pregame speech before we played West Texas in the pineapple bowl when we were at Minnesota State, that would have made the Ampipe speech put you to sleep.
You cant be the introduction I gave you at that pep rally! You also kept saying that I didn't do anything about trashing your place. Well not only did I organize and lead that, I slashed your tires! I flattened them REAL well!!

1 day you say Nickerson is the guys to make Ampipe the town it used to be, the very next day you are slashing tires... you are ridiculous. just like your face.

Ya! Ill sign that for ya, AND I'll return. Unlike Stef...

How dare you say that! Who drove you to school when it was pouring rain and you were walking? Had Coach Nickerson just made Rifleman take a safety then punt the ball, like I suggested in the documentary, I wouldn't have had to run him out of town!

All I've got to say is if you're driving Japanese steel in American steel country you deserve to have trash thrown in your yard and your tires slashed...The amount of American steel used in Bosko's ride employed at least 3 of your players dads for a year. Did you think about that when you spent your Ampipe paycheck on a Toyota FJ...
