I went last weekend. Seemed like on Saturday there were quite a few spots in open in lots around the JQH. On the north side there was a big garage that was probably about a 5 min walk to JQH.

I think fans will enjoy it there this weekend!!!

I parked in the track and field/volleyball lot on the southwest corner of JQH and it was a relatively easy walk.

Bear Park North on Holland and Cherry. Easy in-out of that garage and it's a one block walk to Hammons. Then you can go in between the buildings, buy your tickets at Hammons, get your hand stamped there, and go between the buildings very easily. Walk out the front door of Hammons and go in the back door of JQH right there.
Ditto for the South garage on Grand and Holland. Free, two block walk (five mins maybe), and easy to get in and out of.

Some of the lot availability will depend on what day/time you get there, which will affect how many students will be occupying some of those spaces. I usually use Bear Park North when I go to JQH/HSC and it works pretty well.

The biggest problem last weekend with the Class 1-3 event was concessions. For some reason most of the concessions windows were closed. In JQH there were only 2-3 open and in HSC sometimes only 1 was open, and it was right in front of the door most people were entering to get in the venue.

This was an obvious instance of poor planning on someone's part, and I hope they rectify it for this weekend. On the other hand, crowds will likely be smaller this weekend too.

Missouri State is on Spring Break this week so that should make more parking available. I agree that they needed more concessions open last weekend.

Last weekend there were lots of details both major and minor that came up as people made their way through the weekend. Lots of notes, fixes were discussed as the weekend progressed. Some things were discussed and fixed if able to be taken care of there.
As the event progress and things can be adjusted I am sure that will happen.

The concessions are outsourced to a company MSU doesn't have control over. So, I bet they thought "it's just some high school event, we won't need to have a lot of vendors". Hopefully, they've earned from this past week and will get it fixed, if not this week, then for the next four years.
