C6 title plus C4-3-1 semis. I believe the privates are all favorites but think we could see a few good games here. Pure fodder here are my spreads for each (not usually good at this but what the heck):

CBC by 14.
St. Mary's by 21.
Cardinal Ritter by 35.
Duchesne at EB is a tossup.

Thoughts?

I think all of those will be affected by the temperature.

I think EB can. Although Duchesne has played a very good schedule I still find them to overrated.

The rest? Should all win. By how much? Who knows alot of the playoffs this year has been pretty wild. Especially the higher up the classes you go.

Anybody know if Cardinal Ritter has alot of 2 way players? Could see PH keeping final score closer then most think if that's the case.

Pleasant Hill ran this super high tempo no huddle with no two way players. As soon as ref set the ball they were hiking it. You could tell the second half of game Maryville players were tired and making mistakes and turnovers.

I saw the replay. Was sitting around a bunch of Class 3 folks last Saturday at Liberty North all picked PH. From what I've seen Ritter doesn't need them.

Illinois 8A (largest class) Lincoln Way East plays for the championship vs. Loyola - Chicago 7 PM tonight. Only been tested once all season that was in the playoffs a 17-14 nailbiter over Neuqua Valley who beat St. Mary's by a single point a second year in a row this past September. Just a little tidbit about how monumental a Smithville win would truly be later today and I hope to witness it!

I know they have a couple for sure. Saw them vs Helias. Helias hung in for around three quarters and in the 4th got run out the building. By far the hardest hitting team I saw all year. Should be a good game.

They do. PH possibly only advantage imo is the depth. We shall see how it turns out. This year is full of surprises

Ritter has one two way player and that is the Burks kid. If the game gets tight they will bring in some of their better players on D if they feel they need to.

What? The best better be on the field from the jump.
The receiver committed to Michigan only comes in late defensively if they feel they need him out there. Offensively they have a massive offensive line, (they don't move that well), but they have a much quicker defensive line. On short yardage situations, they sometimes bring in a few O-lineman to plug gaps, but other than that they let their d-line get after you with decent size and quickness.

Who’s the Huskers next coach? Ex Panthers coach?
