STL Privates favored to sweep Class 4-6, SEMO Privates can sweep Class 1 and 2

Boy, what will the discussion be if this happens. Class 3 is the only Class where a Private School is not favored. I love supporting the STL teams, but if 5 out of 6 championships go to private, then there might be a need to put all the private schools in their own bracket. I really do no see anyone beating Cardinal Ritter or Lutheran North, CBC has been solid. Valle is who Valle is and St. Vincent looks awfully good.

Class 5 Cardinal Ritter over Helias
Class 4 Lutheran North v Kearney
Class 3 St. Francis Borgia v Blair Oaks
Class 2 Valle over Fair Grove
Class 1 St. Vincent over Tipton

Like I said, Class 3 is a reach, but the rest could happen.

That does not really make them the favorite. Kearney is the defending champ and undefeated. That could be seen as the favorite as well.

But I think cards fan and I both were looking to see how you were coming to that conclusion. Was it cal preps or another source. But we see now that this is just your opinion

Don't mistake this Kearney grad saying I like this team a lot for thinking in any way either they or Lutheran North will win a semi matchup (should it actually happen) by blowout. I see low scoring and close but let's revisit that IF this game happens Thanksgiving Weekend.

How good is PC going to be next year? I imagine they pick up some Northland/St Joe transfers.
I wonder if Pius/Fort rolls in there coming off a state semifinal type game and they just played some mediocre to bad teams for 6 weeks if that is going to hurt them. Hard to quantify those things. Same situation with Nixa

Lots back next year including QB Marriott. Yes that is why I 100 percent plan to attend both your semi and that final regardless who wins between Fort and Pius. It may early on but they will hit stride especially after half in my opinion.

What happens when you start a SOPH QB. Pius and Platte County went through the same last year. That kid has lots of upside (size, arm strength, smart runner).

The O Line, agree to a point, has been a bit spotty against better D Lines but Park Hill had a monster on that side of the ball. Remember those games were back in weeks 3-4. I'd bet anything we see lots of power running with the deep ball mixed in. Minnick is also, bank on it, keeping several plays in the file cabinet.

BTW, in Class 3, Borgia has not truly been tested completely yet so they could be better than what people are making them. Will they beat Seneca? Maybe... but they for sure will give Seneca all that they can handle and that is for sure.

Have you seen Kearney play? I have seen LN play they have several bigger kids that play both ways and that will be a problem for them later in the game. I hope this game happens because I am holding a lot of receipts if it goes like I think it will.
