Why is Staley shooting 3s. They are not good at it, 0-6. Looks like Staley was thinking we just beat PH South we just need to show up to win
PH South distanced Kickapoo easily earlier in the regular season. Not wanting to imagine how they feel today.
Much as I heard complaints about the State quarters in this Metro being held at the cavernous Silverstein Eye Centers Arena in Independence years back it prepped the winners for this environment.
Falcons are extremely fortunate to be in this one after getting owned inside that entire quarter. Kickapoo looks more energetic today, frankly. A program that expects to be here every year vs. a great team that is not at that level BUT again this is a one score game with 8 unpredictable mins. to go.
And as I say that Staley comes roaring out of the gate now up 4. One of those spurts that propelled them to that massive District upset win.
WOW this 4th quarter has been the Falcons I saw week before last..................speeding up tempo playing with very high energy now.
Staley is now 0-12 from 3, of which 3 were airballs. Why would you not play zone against them. Especially with their height. If you always play man at least pack the man defense in.
Poo had their chances late. Had some tough breaks on some calls there at the end but even with that considered, still had their chances. This one’s over. Staley up 6 with 45 sec left and headed to the line.
Breakaway on inbound wins it indeed! Ugly game overall shudder at the FG percentages but CONGRATS to yet another KC Northland winner Staley (Northland has dominated KCMO in FB, Wrestling and now BB this year). That fourth quarter is something to put in a bottle for tomorrow night vs. the almighty IWA.
Poo actually had several chances to put Staley in deep trouble in the 3rd quarter just couldn't pull away. Second half was tale of two quarters after a very ugly first half both ways.
Idk if I’ll watch the next game but I’ll definitely tune in for the Parkview game. Will be the first time I’ve seen them since they played Hillcrest for the district title last season.
Poo’s ONLY shooter tearing her ACL in jamboree really dinged them. Knew it would bite at some point.
Looked like Staley didn’t put any effort until 4th quarter. Were they trying to save their legs for Incarnate.
Poo showed what coaching and effort can do against an athletically superior player. #44 for Poo got numerous offensive rebounds against Staley players almost a foot taller than her.

All due respect they will need much more than that to upset IWA who didn't exactly light it up until Jesu seemed to wear down in their 4th qtr.
