Winner, though, likely to get rolled in the final. LFL looked all that and then some earlier................
Looking like a photo finish may be coming. All 3s on the board and Stars hit a pair of key 3s to forge this tie.
Helias Catholic with the ball down 2 TO at the 26 sec mark doesn't get better than this!
FTs down the stretch the difference maker in so many of these huge games.................Stars have been impressive from the stripe. Have a strangle hold on this one now.
Spoke too soon Stars miss 4 in a row at charity stripe but HC commits huge double dribble which essentially ended this one. Another day another KC Metro team to the finals! St. Teresa's actually will be the last such but Benton boys and girls will rep the region later!

LFL moved up one class after winning C4 last year (the Chillicothe game was one for the ages) and look like they have been drinking that IWA juice over in the 'Lou.
They thumped Helias pretty good earlier in the year.
Yep saw that prepping for today's games. Scores can sometimes be deceiving but today's HC-St. Teresa's game looked even as the score indicates and LFL played quite the overall slate, too.
Honestly really happy how this Helias team did this year with their lack of size. Unless they pulled up a freshman or Soph, not sure they had a gal over 5'9. Scrappy group.
It helps being close to Columbia for the fan base, and school closing so all the kids could go. Overall Helias travels pretty well for their teams. Hopefully the all behaved. We do have a parent here and there you just shake your head at. LOL
Everyone does, it's the fan bases tlthat the majority is like that you have to watch for.
