An eye opening slate:

Week 1 hosting Rockhurst. 2 vs. Little Rock (AR) Catholic a pretty good 6A school in a metro area that has moved in front of those NW state strongholds. 3 at KS superpower Gardner-Edgerton (should be the Spectrum KC TV game of the week). 4 hosting Cardinal Ritter who should return to the top of MO C5 especially if they nab any of the LN transfers LOL. 5 host St. Michael that actually looks like the only game to this date they would enter as a favorite! 6 the now annual hosting top KS 5A tier St. James Academy. 7 at Bishop Miege who needs no KC metro intro. 8 at Festus St. Pius X gotta think even with the cross State trip the Warriors are heavy favorites in this one and 9 they actually retained (smart move) Savannah who is perhaps the most quietly improving program in NWMO.

Looks to me like a team that, given how beyond the returning QB they will be pretty varsity green to begin 2025, could take some early lumps but be sharpened for a nice playoff run in C5.

Thoughts?

With what they had graduate, a season they wish they were back in Class 3.

They have their studs but not much depth behind them...
Looked like lots and lots of kids on that sideline last November, though. Trying to figure out where on my weekly schedule I want to see them maybe this would be the right year for the Savannah game.............

That week 8 game against the St Pius in Festus is comical....but with that schedule it's like them getting a much deserved break...little mini vacation to scenic Jefferson County.

I could easily see Pius sitting at 1-5 six weeks in. Biggest question is whether all those major contests will wear on them/cause a rash of injuries or (my most likely scenario) help them fix weaknesses and get all the new starters' teeth cut making them dangerous down the stretch especially in the playoffs.
