St Louis County Health Guidelines for Youth Sports

Flag and Tackle football have not been cleared. They can practice but it appears that are not allowed any contact at all and no pads etc.

You know what they did clear though Rugby, which makes the most sense.

I don't think football will be played in St Louis county this year.

Correct, and I am all for rugby, but its 15 a side, and scrums etc. I loved playing rugby in college and my younger years, but if we can practice rugby, kids should be able to practice football. I would love to hear the logic on this one.

Rugby played, in STL, by mostly upperclass, privileged kids.

Football played by lots of kids who aren't as fortunate.
