What a night. Wasn't sure if I was watching a boxing match or a debate. A few takeaways I saw last night from each candidate:

Tom Steyer: He didn't preform under the lights like I was hoping for. He means well, just doesn't have what it takes I think. I think his policies are a step in the right direction, but he got so out of whack when Biden called him out on funding private prisons. That ruined his entire plan of attack.

Amy Klobuchar: There is just no fight in her, other than when Pete called her out in Vegas for not knowing the name of the Mexican president. And she seems like a "me" person. Her only plan of attack on the stage last night was to say "I'm leading the bill for this" and "I'm leading the bill for that."

Joe Biden: He's done after Saturday, even if he wins. He's done. This guy went on national television and said that 150 million people have been killed since 2007. That would be half of the US population. He can't even get the endorsement of Obama, that says something about him IMO.

Bernie Sanders: I thought last night was a disaster for him. He's leading in the polls so everyone took shots at him and I get that but I just thought he got hit hard multiple times. Still no answer on how to pay for his plans or what they will cost (he actually said it would only cost 45 billion). His support of Castro didn't really come up like I thought it should or would but he still doubles down on it every time. That won't play well.

Mayor Pete: He's done as well. He's too nice of a guy to be the president. His intentions are there but he just needs to go be a congressman first as that is all he really cares about.

Elizabeth Warren: She should hang it up now. She flat out lied when she said she was fired from teaching because she was pregnant. That is 100% not true. She resigned from teaching when she became president. Big difference from fired and resigning.

Mike Bloomberg: It is official. He is literally only running for president because he wants to flaunt how much money he has. I was hoping for a bounce back debate and I thought it was equally as bad as the first. But he'll stay in the race and spend all his money instead of backing out and trying to back another candidate to beat Trump. Just shows that he only wants to flaunt his money.

Just my two cents here. Still a ways to go but its been interesting to say the least.

Bernie survived the debate so he basically won. I actually thought, gulp...that Biden had the best night. After next Tuesday night Bernie,Bloomberg and maybe Biden are still left in race.

Saw a poll this morning that says Biden is leading in Missouri, and Bloomberg second. Gesh

I have to agree, and I think the more that the establishment keeps pushing back on Bernie that his support only grows. And I think like Trump he has alot of closest supporters who don't openly endorse him.
Biden just looks frail and lost at times, he should have ran in 2016, he waited 4 years to long.
Bloomberg...does the man not know how to smile and look genuine, he just looks like he is detached from what is going on around him.
But I agree I think it will come down to those three. Possible throw in Warren, she did make some noise.

Seyer is a nonfactor. Too far behind and no momentum.

Klobuchar - nonfactor. Keeps reciting her resume and playing to the heartstrings instead of defining her platform. She's lost her momentum from first two debates. A shame - her ideas appeals to moderates.

Biden - he is hanging around and mostly staying out of the fray, despite his murder numbers blunder. Good ol' Joe is the safe choice and the DNC machine's preferred one.

Sanders - he's not answering well to attacks on his price tags. (As if anyone knows the price tag to their campaign promises. SEE TRUMP'S WALL AND TRADE WAR ) But many of his ideas appeal to many of the working poor families, young people, and pro universal healthcare voters. Bernie is in it to the convention.

Pete - he neither hurts himself nor helps himself much in the debates. A good speaker and maintains his composure, but lacks dynamic appeal. Put him in the "also ran" category.

Warren - she's tanking and her attacks reek of desperation. She doesn't sell her platform well, and instead, like Amy, she recites her resume and plays the heartstrings. Another "also ran". (Note to Stop N Go; Often schools will offer teachers the option of resigning instead of being terminated, although I don't know the facts in Warren's case.)

Bloomberg - too much baggage and most see him as a billionaire trying to buy an election for fame. A nonfactor after 2 debates.

OPINION: It's now a 2 man race between Sanders and Biden. Sanders ideas are too radical and I don't believe he can win without allowing the private insurance option. Americans are skeptical of gov sponsored healthcare and don't want it crammed down their throats. Biden is the safe choice.

PREDICTION: No one wins a majority on the first vote of delegates at the Democratic Convention. On the second vote, the DNC machine throws all the superdelegate votes to Biden to win him the nomination.

Not the case here. She was offered a contract for the next year. Not fired. She resigned on her own.

I like Bernie the person. He seems to genuinely want to help people. I may disagree with the methodology, but he seems like a good person.

Having said that, anyone on board with his policy is ignorant (sometimes willingly ignorant) of history, economics, basic math, and basic sociology.

his policy on immigration has changed, he use to be more inline with Trump. But running for President tends to make that happen. On alot of things he is very similar to Trump Nafta China and trade.

wow, you would think she would learn that these things can be fact checked.
There is also an old interview where she said she left teaching (was not fired). Warren is only effective in hitting other candidates. She will be lucky if she gets 10% of the vote in SC. Probably closer to 5%.

I keep hearing about the "moderate" candidates and can't figure out who has a moderate position on any issues. Is it just a case of not being Bolshevik Bernie makes you moderate?

You are not a good person if you support taking away Property rights, and control all means of production and wealth which curtails freedoms....You are the True authoritarian of the Age. Sure he act's like someone's Grandpa or Nice Uncle but he is not. Do some research on Hitler, he often came across as nice, sweet and caring. But his policies and inner beliefs well...You know.

LMAO Humpty Trumpy is running all 3 branches of the government and you have the gall to call someone else "the true authoritarian".
