This bill passed. My understanding is it would allow children that do not attend public schools to participate in activities in the district they live in.

It looks like, for this part of the bill anyway, it removed the requirement for home-school kids that you had to be taking at least one class through the public school to be able to participate in activities at that school. I'm absolutely certain this won't be exploited.
They tried to put safeguards in place to keep students from "dropping out" and going to "home school" in order to remain eligible, by placing a 365 wait period on folks that leave school. But you are right, I am sure folks will find a way to take advantage of it...
I don’t have an issue with home school kids participating in districts they live in. I’m sure Mshsaa can add on unless the bill already set minimum requirements
