Raypec is jonesing

Serious question is how they are getting around the Mo retirement rules I will be interested to hear this story
i know with the teacher shortage they are allowed so many hours or days to help without a negative impact. My guess is something along the lines of 4 hours teaching weight lifting and then football coaching

Makes this upcoming Sub Gold season all the more interesting. This could be a pretty fast rebound for a program just five years (virus asterisk be darned) removed from winning C6.

You can be retired and still teach full time but it has to be critical need. I don't think weights, football is critical need. Could go partime. No restrictions on that I believe.

Only Jones knows.................
Fair point. I'm just curious. I don't know him AT ALL, just figured on the surface it'd be pretty cool. I know he only lasted a year in Eugene before coming back to Central. Would be a tough switch for a guy in his middle 50's and been accustomed to being the HC most of his professional life.

My angle is the huge difference between coaching High Schoolers and highly credentialed Major College players. The other is the demographic/cultural difference between our Great Plains/Midwest and the Pacific Northwest.

For the record I do not know him at all, either, even though he was here in my hometown for 11 seasons. Just my little $.02 from the stands.
