They made a list of the players that have a true first round grade in this years draft and made a player comparison for each of them. There are only 13 this year that were determined to be true first round talents.

Quarterbacks: 0 - Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders, who will both be first round picks, are graded below the top four QB prospects from last year. Meaning they would likely not have gone in the first round in last years draft even though they may both be top 5 picks.

Running Back: 1

Ashton Jeanty (No. 3): Comp for him is Alvan Kamara

Wide Receiver: 2

Travis Hunter (No. 2): Comp for him is Odell Beckham Jr.

Luther Burden III (No. 13): Comp for him is Stefon Diggs

Tight End: 2

Coleston Loveland (No. 6): Comp for him is Trey McBride

Tyler Warren (No. 9): Comp for him is Rob Gronkowski

Offensive Tackle: 2

Kelvin Banks Jr. (No. 8): Comp for him is Rashawn Slater

Armand Membou (No. 10): Comp for him is Jason Peters

Interior Offensive Line: 1

Will Campbell (No. 12): Comp for him is Dion Dawkins

Edge Rusher: 2

Abdul Carter (No. 1): Comp for him is Micah Parsons

Jalon Walker (No. 5): Comp for him is Harold Landry III

Defensive Tackle: 1

Mason Graham (No. 4): Comp for him is Nnamdi Madubuike

Linebacker: 0 - It's rare for off ball linebackers to receive a first round grade

Cornerback: 2

Will Johnson (No. 7): Comp for him is Pat Surtain II

Jahdae Barron (No. 11): Comp for him is Brian Branch

Safety: 0 - Two safeties will likely be picked in the first round this year but neither has a true first round grade.

For the Chiefs, either one of the TE's would be worth moving up for. Otherwise, it needs to be tackle, tackle, tackle, ad nauseum..
I wouldn't be surprised if since they got that tackle from the 49ers that they go DT in the first round. There could be some really good ones available at their spot.

I still think that they could go OT as the left side of the Oline is very unpredictable at this point. Now... watch them draft yet another WR..!

Oh for sure, I just think the DTs at that spot are considerably better than the OTs that will be left. We shall see! Don't even put the WR business out into the universe Homey!!

IMO they need to go with the BPA regardless of position, unless of course it's QB. I think drafting for needs is what gets you in trouble.

To an extent yes, if the best player available is a "non need" but the third is, take the third best. So, there's definitely a line, I just don't know for sure where that line between the two is. The BPA will probably be a DT with a OT being 5th or 6th so I agree with BPA here.

I somewhat agree, but depends where the guy is on your board. Take the Ravens for example. In 2022 they drafted Kyle Hamilton, who most viewed as the best prospect or safest in the draft but ran a slow 40, while they just signed a safety to a 5 year $70 million deal and also had a quality starter in Chuck Clark. So safety wasn't a need but if you have the ability to draft a top 5 player you have to do it.

And I know they're prospects and no guarantees but man sometimes I never understand some of the guys that slide in the draft.

Oh come on! Are you telling me that if Luther Burden is available at 31 we shouldn't take him? Especially since we don't know how Rice's situation is gonna end
