Policy for Policy

Stop - On the subject of sports, I admit SG boys have lost something competitively and don't want to put in the work. Sports aren't a high priority to majority of boys. Good kids for the most part, but too many don't have that "hate to lose" attitude. Most show up the first day of practice without any extra offseason work than required, and are happy just to be on the team.
Don't be surprised if Valle starts to slip in football and baseball with the new classification system, and they have to go thru the gauntlet of private schools in the playoffs. It's a lot easier to maintain a high interest and commitment when you're romping thru Class 1 every year.

Nah, Valle will win no less than 7 games a year during the regular season and more often than not that'll still be 9 wins. The only thing resembling competition for them the last two or three years has been Ste Gen, R-7, and Pius, and even those games haven't been close more often than not.

Class 3 on the east side of the state isn't all that stout. If they can beat Park Hills or Kennett they'll win their district at minimum.

Win their district and I think they're well coached enough to beat Cardinal Ritter, Trinity, or Lutheran North on a given Friday night.

Valle will win Class 3 before Ste Gen does. I guarantee it.

Lol so, the tax cuts will get repealed.

You disagree with foreign policy? What specific policy?

I agree with all but beating Cardinal Ritter and LN. I mean it’s possible I guess but just don’t think they can match the speed. I know they won’t back down from the challenge though.

Moving up to Class 3 just gives them the opportunity to beat the school up on the hill twice in one season.

That’ll be fun to watch!

If they can match up with Hayti and Caruthersville, there's no reason they can't give Ritter or LN a game.

You obviously are desperate to have some interaction with me. Why else would you continually respond to my posts despite rarely getting a response?

Stalker.

Anyway, it's not about me. Respond to the original post or don't respond, you are on ignore and will stay there. Discuss policy and why Biden's POLICY is better for the country otherwise this is the last response you get from me for the foreseeable future.
It's not about you... That's rich.

Says the troll of trolls

In internet slang, a troll is a person who starts flame wars or upsets people on the Internet by posting inflammatory and digressive,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the intent of provoking readers into displaying emotional responses[2] and normalizing tangential discussion,[3] either for the troll's amusement or a specific gain.

That sounds much more like you than it does me...

I've specifically been trying to steer this back ONTO the original subject multiple times. One of us is a troll, but it's hard to say I fit the definition.

Unless to you "troll" just means someone who posts things you dislike and disagree with. I post very little to "inflame" anyone. If you don't like it, tell me why and tell me why I'm wrong. I WANT debate, you WANT to be as mean and ignorant as possible.

You are by very definition, a troll.

Carry on I guess.

I guess if you oppose funding private education at all that would be consistent but this is about covid aid and everyone is getting it so why not private schools too?
Private business is getting funding as well as government agencies. Should we separate those?

Did you read it? I don't appose them getting money, you are right both are getting hit. However DeVos is trying to change the funding formula, even some Pubs said they thought the funding would go as it always goes. If private schools want a piece of tax dollars then they need to accept all kids and not be able to turn away any child who wants to attend just like public. I am not against private schools I just don't like that they can pick and choose who they want in their system. Public schools don't have that option.

I'd rather my tax dollars actually go to the school my kids attend regardless of where they live.

That is something entirely different, now you are talking vouchers. I really don't appose that either, but again if we go that route all schools be it public or private have to accept all kids who want to attend. If 800 kids show up and want to attend, then no matter the race, disabilities or Gender... that school be it private or public have to accept all 800 there is no picking or choosing.

Honest question, are private schools really turning down kids because of race or disabilities?

Or is it just assumed that since private schools have the ability to pick and choose, that they actually do and thus said kid with a disability doesn’t apply?

I know of two personally who were told that the child did not pass the entrance exam. Not all private schools are that way, but do you think for one minute that the Rock is going to take 10 mentally handicap kids who require a para full time?

I can't speak for all private schools, but the one my kids attend don't. If you have the ability to pay and the desire to attend, you can go there.

Kids with behavioral issues or who are unwilling or unable to put forth the effort to do well usually don't past long, but it's because they weed themselves out.

I think in Public schools you will also find those kids. Again I am not against vouchers, but if we go that route there is not bias...no race, disability or gender, all schools have to take all kids who enter those doors with a valid voucher, no limiting what so ever, be it 350 kids or 1000 kids you take them all.
