Playoff matchups set

Hannibal would definitely benefit from joining the CMAC in football.. They already play Helias, Jeff CIty, and Battle. Although, I heard that Battle is dropping Hannibal from their schedule after next season. Hannibal would be the smallest school in the conference but would definitely do well. Plus, it would better prepare them for the playoffs.
Hannibal would benefit playing bigger schools in CMAC but Hannibal would win 80% of conference championship's year in and out. Helias will be the only team to contend Hannibal for a CMAC Championship

I would rather have Hannibal go Independent in football than Played for NCMC, CMAC, and Gateway Athletic Conference

It would probably benefit them, as they could go wherever they wanted to get good competition during the reg season. Geographically, they are going to have to travel to face legit competition. It would help them come post-season.

I have to disagree to this. yes Monroe City, Macon, Centralia, and sometimes Palmyra are good year in and out but they are no way CCC teams are Capable of playing up to Hannibal or vice verse. Back in 2019 Helias and Monroe City played each other and Helias won by 3 Td's.
Yes and that same year Helias beat Hannibal 46 to 0. The year before that Monroe City beat Helias at Helias and Helias beat Hannibal at Hannibal.

And sometimes Palmyra?

Not counting this year, since 2012 they have won 70% of their games and been to the semifinals 3 times.

This year Hannibal beats Kirksville by 20. Macon beats Kirksville by 13 and Monroe City beats Macon by 24.

I know comparing scores can backfire, but I think judging by that Monroe City could certainly play with Hannibal.

Considering Rock Bridge beat Helias this year and the fact that other than the last 2 years, Battle has beaten Hannibal 6 of the 7 times they played previously, I don't count 2013 since Battle didn't have seniors, I don't think they would just dominate the CMAC. I think Cap City and Hannibal would be a really good game this year. I do think the CMAC is down compared to where some teams were 5-7 years ago, but it would still provide much better competition than the NCMC. I would replace Smith-Cotton with Hannibal and I think the conference would benefit greatly from it.

Hannibal was up 32-7 against Kirksville with five minutes left in the first half. That 7 came when Hannibal's DB badly misplayed a rainbow throw and fell down....should have been an interception. One of Kirksville's other scores was legit. Hannibal definitely let up after being up big. That game was not as close as it may appear by the score. Palmyra's success in the past in Class 2 does not mean they would beat Hannibal....maybe competitive for about a half or so.

Right on. I respect your opinion on the matter but agree to disagree.

Hannibal would have beat MC by 3 plus TDS last year. 75% is probably a stretch. I will bump it down to 60% and stick with that.

No way. Mexico and Moberly would have a really really tough time competing for a conference championship in the CCC every single year for the past 30 years. I might have been a bit high on the 75% but no way Hannibal wins the CCC 90% of the time and Moberly and Mexico don't even need brought into this equation.
Well this is obviously my opinion but lets look back at the last 10 years, Based on common opponents and records a Mexico or Moberly team would have more than likely wins the CCC in every year but this year.

Based off of Helias beating Hannibal and Rock Bridge beating Helias, I would venture to say that this year, that would have put Hannibal 3rd at best in the CMAC, hypothetically.

Rock Bridge went undefeated in conference and only losses were to Park Hill South by 7 in week one and in Week 9 to a very solid(I don’t think anyone can argue this) Francis Howell squad.

All of this info was collelected from maxpreps. I went back to 2004

Hannibal is 11-12 against Helias since 2004
Hannibal is 4-6 against Battle all-time
Hannibal is 4-2 against Jeff City since 2018
Hannibal is 1-1 against Rock Bridge since 2004

against CMAC schools since 2004, Hannibal is 20-21

that’s less than .500

It's this type of factual, evidence based posting that we don't hanker to around here, sir.

Consider yourself on double secret probation.

i take back my statement i made yesterday. Hannibal would been 2nd or 3rd in the CMAC in since the conference was formed if Hannibal was in CMAC!!!

@ChaoticFanatic i have been wanting to ask you a opinion on something for a while . did you think it was fair for you guys to travel to Hannibal for the Quarterfinals last year. i know it's almost a 10 Hour Round trip.
