ok.... so let me be sure I am getting this right.....
It is possible for a track athlete that does not participate in any other sport, to make it through 4 years of high school with only two physicals.
So, if a freshman gets their physical on Feb 5th, then it is valid through their sophomore year.....and then repeat the process their junior year.
why wouldn't they make the rule that it is good for one calendar year?

a. .....The medical certificate is valid for the purpose of this rule if issued on or after February 1 of the previous school year.
