We made the trek to Dallas for this one. So, we’re sitting there during warmup and this kid’s nowhere to be seen. Game starts, nothing.

Finally, I turn to a North Shore fan sitting next to me and ask him where Evans is. He shared the story posted by shoot (above). Wholly admire Coach Kay for not sacrificing the program’s principals in order to win...and getting it done anyway.

I was reading some tweets regarding the incident. Someone there immediately brought up slavery as a defense to their position that the coach was in the wrong. Crazy stuff.

Congrats Coach Kay and to all the players who did things the right way. Impressed.

I'm just glad Marvin Burkes didn't transfer to North Shore just for this game.
