Hockey in person is a great watch. Love it. I would rather watch that in person that just about any other sport.

Football is my #1 but after that is hockey for sure.
I’ve watched at the amateur level and it was very slow paced, but college, semi pro, and professional hockey is a blast as a spectator.

Believe it or not, first ever hockey game I saw live and in person was a semi-pro game in Biloxi, MS of all places.

The majority of the team was Russians and Canadians of course. 🤣

To reply from earlier, I think the original Platte Valley League in NW Missouri was a six man league.

Yeah in 1948 there were two conference going in the Kansas City area. The Platte Valley Conference and the Highway 275.

Looks like Oak Grove and Belton use to play 6-man football found a score from 1940 that Oak Grove beat Belton 35-0 in a 6-man game.
