Park Hills 30 Valle 21

Are there any Valle people on here anymore. Not sure why they would want to be, just to listen to all of you whiners and excuse makers whose teams never do shit complain about private schools.
Judd was on the the radio after the game was over. His comment was that nobody whined, or cried about being elevated to class 3. They just continued to work hard and try to be better. They succeeded by winning their conference and beating Seckmann along the way. Quite an accomplishment for a small school of about 140 students. By my calculation they will have 7 points and drop down to class 2 next year. Thank you Rufus!

Its amazing the obsession with some of these posters talking about things they have no clue about. Even worse is its about 15-17 yr old kids
Those debates about Valle on here over the years have been between Valle posters and non Valle posters.
don’t give us the ole “it’s about teenage kids”

most of the posts on this forum are about high school football teams, which are made up of… oh that’s right high school kids

the great majority of the people(myself included) who’ve taken issue with private schools is the issue of the school itself and not the players.

Then again, your account is only 3 months old so I wouldn’t expect you to know much about conversations and debates that have been had on here over the course of the last decade

Oh so what you’re saying is you’re just in denial about there being any Valle whiners about when they were bumped to class 3 these last few years?
cause there definitely were. A few of them even had Valle as part of their username 🤣

If you are going to keep complaining you will be sentenced to 9 straight hours of listening to old Stolzer radio interviews until your head explodes.

Hey...you crawled out from under your rock again...lol

Please accept my apologies if Valle kicked your sorry a** teams.

If you want to hear whining tune into some of the teams Valle beat this year.
They're wishing Valle had stayed a class 1 problem.

Some of those schools used to be schools to be feared but have fallen on
hard times for some reason. And private school recruiting isn't the problem in
Kennett, Fredericktown, Potosi and Park Hills.

My problem with MSHSAA is that they punish everyone because of problems caused
by the city schools. I'm only familiar with StL schools but KC is likely the same. And
help me out here, how are class 6 private schools punished for winning?

I've never had a problem getting punished for something I was guilty of. But punishing
a whole class, troop, team, whatever for the sins of some isn't right anyway you try to spin it.

See ya next year....get your class 2 excuses cued up!

Won’t win in class 2 either. Cope brother.

The last paragraph of that statement sure sounds like whining to me.

I’ve been here all year, so I’m not sure what proverbial rock you’re referring to 🤣🤣

time to go back under your own rock and watch the playoffs from there.

long live Valle Catholic,’the only private school in the state that has never ever ever ever recruited a single player in the history of the program 🙄

🤣🤣🤣

O we'll cope ok....Valle's record the past 3 years I believe is 30-3. And the only class 1 school we played is St. Vincent's of Perryville. And I ain't your brother, lol
Yeah. We are not. It’s an expression. Crazy stuff. Anyways, SEMO isn’t exactly a gauntlet of class 1-3 schools most years. So I don’t really comprehend why you are so boastful. Yeah a lot of the upper tier class 2 and 3 schools avoid playing down. It’s something that prepares you for nothing.

Class two be like…

I'd be grumpy too if I was 30-3 with zero district titles. Has Naeger lost his touch?
Hey, I'm not Grumpy, I'm Sleepy from dueling with Dopey and Sneezy! Judd and all of the Valle alumni are in a happy place in spite of circumstances out of our control. More than once I have heard Judd say that there are more important events in life than winning a football game.
FYI.....Two Naegar lines in SG, Naeger and Naegar. Judd is the latter.

Well, go public and you’d be Class 1
Ding ding ding 🛎
Little farming communities are where most of their titles come from. I’m sure that would be preferable for Valle fans. They don’t want to play anyone big enough to have a Casey’s AND a dollar general I’m sure. The deck is stacked against them.

They do seem to have beefed up their schedule since the excuse-making losers got them bumped up. Which will only help them come postseason, just like it does everybody- whether you win it all or not.

So whether you recruit or not, you get to pick and limit your student body. In most cases you dont take special needs students or "hard to deal with kids" you still dont realize how this gives you an advantage, but you want to call those that are willing to point it out "excuse making losers".. is that about right?

Yes, it is what it is. That's what I'm calling them. That is correct. Your reading comprehension is better than your teachers or the Iowa Basics ever gave you credit for.

Refusing to admit that is a bit of an advantage is silly. But carry on tough guy.

Sorta. The entire SEMO imo is down. It’s a very good more times then not way to do it absolutely. Central is the only impressive thing outside of Valle currently. The rest arguably even if they are bigger schools aren’t very good. I mean look how awful Vianney has been lately. They went 0-10 this year. I’m not sure how to accurately judge Valley this year. Or where the program is.

I figured Valle would end up in Class 2 after a couple years under the new system. Most Valle folks I've talked to over the years believe Class 2 is about where they belong.

Actually, I like the new system except I think the success factor should apply to public schools as well. If a public school goes on a run like Webb City did for several years, they should be bumped up too.

The athletic player "move ins" are becoming much more common than it use to be. Wasn't the Park Hills Central stud Jobe Bryant's family originally from Farmington until Jobe reached high school, and it was apparent that Farmington wasn't going to be as good as Park Hills in football and basketball? Park Hills Central has been getting their share of "move ins" for a few years now (ask North County). All perfectly legal, not making accusations, but based on threads on here over the years some public school powerhouses like Webb City and Lamar have been benefiting from "move ins" for years. All legal under MSHSAA rules unless you can prove "for athletic reasons" or "undo influence", which is basically impossible to prove a family's motive for moving. But I think public schools should have the same success factor as privates.

Yes, there's no where up for Class 6 champions to go, but that is why it is the smallest class with the 32 largest schools in the state.
Lamar move ins? That is the funniest thing you have posted in a long time.

I over read that originally. I hope it’s a troll. Lol There’s nothing job wise to entice a family to drive a hour + in any direction for a high paying job. Divorces + kids moving in with other parent is about the only “new” Lamar has had in over a decade. Webb I can’t speak for. But what a post lol it’s remarkable Lamar hasn’t fallen to class 1 and hasn’t had large drop offs in numbers in all reality.

I was going off of memory of past posters comments regarding Lamar and Webb. I have no first hand knowledge of either, so I'll retract (or can I redact LOL) the statement. I'm positive I've read on here that Webb has benefited from some talented "move ins" over the years. I do now hear of more players moving in the area I live than there were 20 years ago. I think it's more common now with the current youth sports culture with parents willing to be active participants in "chasing the dream" by moving the family for better sports opportunities.

But my point is that not all public schools are winning state championships with purely homegrown talent.

Nobody is willingly moving to Lamar lol . Unless they work at McDonalds in Jasper and would rather work at McDonalds in Lamar I say that in jest but the two decent major employers in Lamar shut down years ago ..There is no real jobs there outside of the service industry and farming

A lot of fine 8-man squads literally surrounding Lamar. All were decent class 1 teams recently as 10 years ago. Things that make you go; hmmm?
