Paris go 8 man??

I’m hearing that Princeton, Paris, and Scotland County are all going 8 man.

Following a School Board vote, Paris High School will move to 8-Man football.

I was wondering if some of the teams that fell to Class 2 might move back up next year but with teams moving to 8 man, it might not happen
Pretty sure Princeton, Paris and Scotland Co are all going 8-man, whether they’ve announced or not.
Stay tuned. I’m sure they’ll announce either way at some point relatively soon.
Van-far will follow at some point Iin the next few year. My understanding they were waiting on Paris to pull the trigger. Also heard Wellsville- Middleton and Community R-6 might look into adding 8-man.
Virtually all of the I 70 and WEMO seem headed for 8 Man.
If SC and SE MO start 8 man this will truly become a State wide class (may have to split into C1 and 2 frankly).
Makes a retraction to 5 11 man classes a more distinct possibility.
As it stands with the other schools that are dropping down, that only puts 8 man in the mid 40s in schools that are playing. I doubt it would go to 2 different classes for quite some time. Heck, they still only had 4 districts this year because they didn’t want to do a bunch of 5 team districts.
What about schools currently not playing any FB going ahead and joining 8-man?

Princeton already went. A WEMO and I 70 at the bottom of the list and there is Polo. THANKS good to know!

I am pretty sure Adrian will not be going to 8-man. I can see Wellington and Midway going. I think Crest Ridge would like to stay 11 since they now coop with Chilhowee.
Adrian's MSHSAA enrollment this year is 176, which is way above the 150 cutoff. What next year brings, who knows?
Plattsburg has also discussed going 8-man. Polo did a few years ago, but their numbers are pretty good right now, so I don’t see them dropping any time soon.
Maybe MSHSAA should look at starting boy’s volleyball. 8 players is closer to 6 than 11.
